Harley is just a very cleverly marketed BRAND !! Its an image !! Every image has its own market and Harley dominate that market. They do not compete with other types of riding image such as sports bike riding. Harley is a different game all togethor.

Had my Harley Rocker C now for 2 years - but Im done with that now and moving on.

Its been from san diego all the way to montgomery alabama zero problems other than sand getting in the breather. 23,000 miles and counting is not a shit product any way you look at.

@Gsnickets Like i said a different style of bike...just because they're not fast who gives a shit. They're a cruiser meant for the long haul not getting somewhere 0-60. I personally think Buells where the dumbest idea Harley ever allowed to happen along with the Vrod(and its God awful ugly). Its classic style bike and it does what it does very well. I personally think that Harleys have an amazing sound like a camming muscle car. IMO. I choose my Ducati for speed Harley for road trips and looks.

That's one of the few stock exhausts I have to say looks and sounds sweet.

I can see why a short exhaust would be desirable on this bike - it shows off the single sided swingarm better. Having said that I like the stocker best, followed by the shorty without DB.

Either way... nice freakin' bike! :)

i've got a Buell XB12s Lightning and I love it. However I was always going to change for my next bike. I was considering an MV Agusta brutale, a Ducati Streetfighter or Monster 1100s or a Moto Morini Cosaro 1200.

I'm sorry but I just don't like the sound of the Brutale's engine. I think I'm inching towards the Moto Morini. Though it is road tests that will decide.

This is a little bit of a step up than a z1000, obviously you have never seen either in person and seen the difference in the quality and detail differences of a everyday run of the mill jap bike and a precision built bike like this, not to mention the new 1078rr. Everything about the 910 is superior, especially what counts, chassis, suspension, brakes, engine. And i ride a 919 about to trade in for a aprilia tuono factory. Z1000 is good bike, not on same level though

First of all I have seen and ridden the brutale. Not to mention the F4. I own a 2001 Aprilia RSV 1000 R an 03 Z1000 and a 1978 Ducati 900 GTS. I made the comparison just out of the fact that I see no need to buy a bike for that kind of expense. I am not the type of person to go out and buy something for an extreme amount when it may or may not appreciate in value. I buy for fun and function and if I want precision engineering Ill buy a classic that has proven itself.

Actually it runs much cooler since it is a shorter midpipe. Stock exhaust midpipe run right up next to the heel of your boot. My heel actually melted with the stocker. The cta eliminator also lets the bike run cooler.
