An interesting note about this video: You can really hear that signature "bong" sound the machine makes. Maybe that's a Brunswisck A2 pinsetter. I could hear that sound at the empty alley when practicing in the summer in high school. Those were the days - you'd bowl and score by yourself. If you scored on the "overhead" that was special! Anyone else remember the "fence"?
Keith, I also lament the demise of skill level in the "modern" game. I even tried the sport shots, but our center couldn't even put those out right. Sad that scoring got so easy they have to TRY to make it harder on purpose. :-(
Thanks for the compliments, I greatly appreciate them. Perhaps 20-25 years ago, if the high schools had better bowling programs like now, went to a university that had a great bowling program, had proper coaching, well, maybe the PBA would have been something for me. These days, all I can ask of myself is that I have respectible showings in the tournaments I enter, and that I dominate the brackets I enter in my leagues.
i should put a video up of me bowling.

Just wondering why you chose to practice on one lane instead of a pair
mrwrister 3 years ago
Never gave any thought to why one vs. a pair that particular day. I do typically like to practice on a pair.

@mrbowling300 well i would think it would be a pain to move the camera back and forth.

Country Lanes? I bowled part of a season there (1987-88)in the Budweiser Classic. Holy Crap!

You are bowling on a serious wall, you have throw balls 7 boards apart with the same results, a pocket hit.
