i got a sony cd player similar to this one and it doesn't want to read the disc no more i think one of the gears is broken by the lazer, and the memory doesn't work well. i wanted to know if anyone knows a websites where i can find parts to fix it? btw out of all audio devices this cd player has the best bass and audio quality i've ever gotten.
@valdesadam i think you should bring it to sony service center, they still have the optical pick up (set) parts, the rest spare parts will be ordered from singapore. sony philippines still accept this unit for repair...

I have one, it has FM/AM/TV/WEATHER Atrac3plus and MP3 the buttons are in the same place and it opens the same, the inside looks the same too. There is missing text on that one and also alot of the text is in different places.
i'll try to find it. but i bought this cd player like 5 years ago. lol idk if they will want to repair it.

i have one , my brother has one
and this is one of the best cd players !
i burned a cd with 400 songs on it and played it on this
and only used 1 aa battery
too bad it wasnt back lit though

Are you in the US? If so, you would have the USA version, this wouldn't be the US version, that's why it doesn't have those bands you talk about.
