There is a couple who tried same scheme, but at least they didn't murder someone, they used a body they dug up from graveyard to fake death of the husband. unfortunately for them, they chose an 83 year old woman body, which a DNA test clearly showed it belong to a woman, and they were stupid enough to meet at their home and a restaurant several times only weeks after the fake death.
