  • ABC/Disney is cancelling all our soaps, so let's cancel ABC in all our homes..OLTL was one of the best soaps in tv history and will truly be missed by all

  • Why when Viki said " Will the villains get their come upings did they pan the camera to Todd cause we all know by now Victor is alive. Love when she spoke abour watching them grow up it was on Starr and when she said still others we like to see they panned on Hope and Sam. New couple Shaun and Viv. New families Patels and Evans. Old faces Nigel. Loved the cut aways.

  • This episode had just brought me to tears and tears and tears!! So sad that this soap is gone!! Can't believe I got soooo emotional on it!! I loved OLTL's ending better than AMC. I will miss OLTL!!

  • join my facebook page save all my children and one life to live we have task and our doing everything to get them on another network!

  • I was one of those college students who started watching OLTL in 1975. Back in the days of Brad and Jenny, the Wolek clan, etc. We would all schedule our classes around the soap lineup. There was no cable or VCR then. I would go a few years when I didn't watch as closely, I always came back. Looking back on those 35 years, for me the most enduring and poignant moment was Megan's death. Hard to believe it's really over.

  • Watched it live yesterday, made me cry. I just watched it again and I'm crying again. I can't believe its over, been watching this show all of my life..

  • I am in total shock and disgust that this iconic soap opera is gone. This soap opera should have never been touched. I was so attached to these characters for 18 years hooked by what's going to happen next. I will miss this soap. I have been crying a lot and sad.

  • Wow... I just can't believe it's over.. It just doesn't seem real. I have been watching this show for many many years with my grandma, my mom and my aunts. I always wanted to watch this with my daughters but now I wont get that chance. This has been such a huge part of my life, and some people might think it's weird to be so hooked on a tv show but when you have been watching it for such a long time it's like the show and the people have become apart of your family.

  • I have watched OLTL for the past 10 years and my pa watched it back when he was in college and every once and awhile he would ask me how the Buchanans were doing he was bummed when Asa died and now we are sad to see it go

  • Earliest memory I have of oltl(I'm sure there's more because I've been watching since I was born and my mom and gram were sitting in front of the tv) is Dorian and Vicki and that huuuugggeee diamond xD I would rather watch actors doin real things as opposed to real people doin real things. It seems more entertaining. I hate reality tv I love old school soap operas -3

  • 3 words. OH... MY... GOD. What kind of a world is it going to be with Erika Slezak and the rest of that brilliant company of actors not on our screens every weekday??!!?? And for WHAT? I wish a swift demise to the "Dreadolution" - how DARE they think we want to see a reality show in place of the best soap opera on the air?

  • Thanks for posting all these years. I love watching ABC soaps since I was born with my mom. Ryan's Hope, Santa Barbara, Loving, PC, AMC, OLTL,GH, Dynasty,Falcon Crest, Knots Landing...and my absolute fav were OLTL and GH. All this time my faithful viewing was for my fav families, love 2 hate villains, n their awesome acting. TPTB ruins this legacy. Where was Bree? Gonna miss the cast of OLTL :( :( :( Pls all watch Gh. I swear more ppl will be on antidepressants w/ all these reality tv.

  • I have so many memories of OLTL. I think the earliest memory of OLTL that I have is the Marco Dane murder trial when Karen Woleck confessed she was a hooker. To this day I think that was the greatest scene in TV history. Gee, I could go on and on about my favorite storylines. I have to many of them. I'm just mad that ABC decided that trash TV is the future. Well they will get theirs when nobody tunes in. Long live OLTL!!

  • We never had cable and during the summers Me then later my brother could not help but watch this show along with our mother every day at 1pm. It was our guilty pleasure Daily this show and its topic became a regular conversation at my house and with other family members. As time went one sometimes Id get out of routine watching it but you let me see it just one day and I was hooked all over again Its SO sad that its been on so long & can be gone and replaced with CRAP shows OLTL WILL be missed

  • Beautiful speech by Viki.

  • My parents introduced me to this show. Been watching religiously for 27 years! My first real memories of being hooked were during the original Mitch Lawrence storyline. That VO truly expressed all the reasons why I love OLTL and why I will sorely miss it. Good bye my dear friend and thank you for all the years of entertainment.

  • Great how the VO matched up with the characters we were seeing. "Will the villain get his comeuppance"...Tea eyeing Todd. "New faces very different than the old ones"...Blair who was Asian American before Kassie took over the role. "Characters we've watched grow up"... Star.

  • I remember my mom letting me skip school in 1982 so I could see Viki and Clint marry the 1st time. Those two characters pulled me into OLTL and I never ever really let go. Some of the best actors have come from soaps and continue to be on soaps, Too bad that ABC has failed to appreciate that fact and wants to try and stick daytime viewers with more reality shows as if audiences aren't already inundated by them!

  • There's just one thing we have to do to keep them in our lives. Tune in tomorrow. :(

  • I remember the first time I watched it, My mom was an All My Children fan and I got hooked and then one day I didn't turn the TV off and it was the summer of the Marty Saybrooke Rape trial and I was hooked, I watched in constantly until 2004 when a couple of stupid storylines turned me off. Victor alive, come on, and the Music Box killer peeved me off.

  • The Voice over tribute to the show and it's fans was awesome and right on target, I will miss this show lots. I loved How David basiclly lit into Matthew about stepping up for his kid....Looks like tomorrow Baby Evans-Buchanan will arrive, and on the final episode too, absolutely Awesome!! Great way to end it having the newest Buch be born. I just hope that if they do a bombshell, it will be that Todd didn't Kill Victor, that it was Agent Bates on Irene's orderes. That would make it great!

  • Beautiful words and describes this show perfectly. Will miss you OLTL tuned in back in the summer of 2000 and was hooked from then on. Revolution and Chew will NEVER take the place of our beloved soaps .

  • please check out my OLTL tribute on my channel, the song is a great fit!

  • That REVOLUTION thing in the corner.UGH.

Typical Klassy with a Kapital K move by ABC.

Brilliant work and lovely words, though. They can't ruin that. Sniff.

  • *my creys*

  • OMG I remember when I first watched OLTL, back in 1995 when they had Antonio Vega and the whole gang war storyline...and fell in love with the soap ever since...and Antonio Vega LOL, man I grew up watching this and I'm gonna miss this soap...

  • Way to twist the knife writers, right to the heart :'(

  • this made me cry a little

  • @shygirl0943 me too it's so sad

  • I will miss this soap it's so true what viki is saying! I love when she made the comment about new actor take over and we saw Blair!

  • I don't even watch #OLTL but that was so eloquent about what a soap opera is and what it means to you I cried. Thank you for sharing.

  • This voice over needed to be done tomarrow. But its so true. We Todd fans hated everytime Roger Howarth left but welcomed him back everytime. We had to accept Trevor St John in role but was thrilled when Roger Howarth returned. I remember when Megan died. I seen Vicki through all her illnesses she's had in the past 22 yrs. I started watching when I was in highschool I was in a school that you really worked on you own and when u were done you so I was home by 2pm. Fell in love with OLTL.

  • @pattytriciastrange I know what you mean..I rushed home from jr. high in the 70's to watch w/my mom..now my daughter watches & so does her husband. I even named my 2nd daughter after Vicki's daughter Megan! And would you believe her bf of 3 yrs name is Jake! So gonna miss my favorite tv show......Todd..you're right...THIS SUCKS!!!!

  • @bkosiwantto hahahaha I remember having my mom take me out of school early for one day so i could see who ended up being the real Todd Manning. Man I miss TSJ so much I hope he appears somehow tomorrow I would be one happy fan :) Wow that is so cool that you named your daughter Megan, and that is awesome that her bf of 3 years is named Jake. Talk about a coincidence :) Yeah I'm going to miss it too I'm not ready to say goodbye it's like I am losing a family member :(

  • Aw man, I've almost cried more times in the past week and a half, than I have the whole two years I've been watching. I can't believe tomorrow is the last episode. Viki's speech, man, that was spot on. I know the writers made it, but I'm glad Viki was the one to say it.

  • So sad that another good soap opera would have to go off the air.

  • TISSUE REQUIREMENT and her EMMY REEL

  • So sad, I'm hurt this show was my favorite and I will truly miss them:(

  • such a great voice over ..it makes me cry so much im gonna miss OLTL like crazyyy!

  • Thank you so much for putting this up!

.... I was crying so much when it aired, I didn't realize, but I didn't even hear half of it... Such a beautiful speech <3 Sums up just about everything I love about soaps, and more specifically, One Life To Live.

  • I haven't sopped crying all week, I used to watch this show with my grandma right up until she died. Everytime I watch this show it takes me right back to those days sitting on the couch with her eating popcorn and drinking Diet 7up arging over how we think the plots should go.

She died last year and now OLTL is leaving it hurts because as long as the show was on it was kinda like she was still here, and now it feels kinda like I'm losing her all over again . . . and it really sucks!

  • @AMaleConfessor aaaww honey *HUGS* i feel so bad for you. ive been through this with ATWT and GL and now the abc shows..but i know what you mean and what your feeling. God i hope this show somehow goes on or comes back somewhere, its one of the BEST ive seen.

  • Nice and Sad at the sametime. I hope they release the show on DVD.
