  • @TheAlejandro3606 just shows you that chevy>ford.

  • u dont put a chevy moter in a mustang are u stupid??? wtf do u call that??

  • @TheAlejandro3606 I call it an improvement. LMFAO I crack myself up.

  • I gotta 96 impala for your pony?

  • @88Fastback I gotta a Camaro and a GTO for your impala?

  • thats alot of motor for that tiny car

  • @KushCity313 lol so because we don't share the same opinion on the way a car looks i don't know what i'm talking about.....I drive an F-body kid.....the Foxbody is smaller and lighter.....and it looks old school.....sure it doesn't stand out like the 4th gen fbodys do but i remember a time where these fox bodys were smoking camaros and firebirds stock for stock....you don't see as many foxbodys with ls1s as camaros so id rather have the Fox....unless the ls1 camaro was drag ready...

  • @KushCity313 yeah dude you're a complete dumb ass that fox body would be faster than stock ls1s for sure

  • @KushCity313 I have no idea what you are talking about.

  • lol i luv ls motors

  • no ford engine sounds that good.

  • @deadeyedickification I know they sound beter

  • damn it i want something like this.

  • Nice notch I'd like to cram an ls7 in one

  • I dont know why people trash on Ford motors so much. I mean yes your gto can beat a mustang Gt. But if you look at the displacement of the motor it is a different game. If 281ci mustangs were beating 350ci and even 6 liter motors made by GM then General motors would not be in business, even though the government owns them now. A damn motor is a motor. People put Chevy engines in other vehicles because of the cost to buy and build them as well as the availability of them.

  • @w3bb3r04 \

Most talk shit about Fords because First off they are Too Cheap to build a Fast FORD. Second they are scared & have to jump on the band wagon. We have MANY fast cars Mostly FORDS. I have had a Stock blocked 5.0 that we sprayed 300 shot for over year racing EVERY week in AZ. NEVER even nipped a plug. Car went 10.30's ALL Day with a 1.28 60' on a Baby 275/60/15 drag radial. Most that talk shit are clueless & think their mid 11 second car is a rocket Period.

  • @NitrousTuner1

Agreed! Im not mad that people are putting chevy motors in fords- thats their choice. What Im mad about is when they put one in there because they cant afford to build a nice ford motor and then trash on Fords. Rediculous.

Btw that 10.3 (fox im guessing) must be a fun street car!

  • @NitrousTuner1 lol at bragging about running low 10's spraying 300.

  • @osp80

Yeah you let me know when You EVER have ANYTHING that can run a 1.2 60' foot.

That's ok Im sure you have a really fast car...... LOL

  • @NitrousTuner1 my 355 64 nova ran 11.2 without spray,60ft was about a 1.4 IIRC

  • ls motors are pretty wicked, i'm a ford guy so whatever, but i think it's a lot cooler when my 306 smashes a ls powered car and then they do the cryin. if you wanna bitch about puttin a gm motor in a ford go ahead, just remember, don't talk any shit untill your ford powered car can whoop their gm powered ass. otherwise the real ford guys just get pissed off. I drive a ford powered ford, with less ci, i still win. not all the time, but alot of the time.

  • NICE SETUP, ID DO IT ANYTIME....

  • not gonna lie BADASS. and no one should hate on this swap. nor should they hate on a maro with a 5.0 swap. Ive seen those too... its all good. i could def see a lot of modern engine swaps too. the new 5.0 should be seeing its way into lots of fox bodies.

  • @DaBluedude100 Id hate on anybody who swaps in a 305 lol

  • @DaBluedude100 hahahahahaha. fords sometimes run chevy engines but never the other way around , nobody want to downgrade by putting a ford engine in a camaro.

  • @jeflagoon I've Got a buddy with a 76 mark with a 351 Windsor in it. I will admit it's more common to see a ls in a fox but ford engines make their way into a lot of chevs.

  • @DaBluedude100 yeah but only idiots would do something like that

  • if i ever got a Mustang thats what i would do, lol hes smart.

  • @ModMob Thats what I tell my cousin to do, but he is a die hard ford guy therefore he will never beat me.

  • needs boost...

  • @acballa3369 nah..

  • @ModMob its an LS1 atleast put it on the bottle.

  • built ford tough with chevy stuff! i like it man...the only right way to power a ford is...put an ls motor in it :)

  • What type of engine is in John Forces' Mustang, or any Ford bodied funnycar in the last 40 years? Certainly not a ford product, or even Ford design. so who really cares?

  • @jayscraft your wrong about that, they are definitely of ford design look at where the distributors placed, then look at a chevys its in the back even on funny cars.

  • so fucking loud. My buddy just picked up one, notchback, the exhaust is really quite, you wouldn't ever expect a 5.7L to be sitting under the hood, the motor is bone stock and he tears up pullied cobras, it's all that power to weight, car is less then 3k lbs with him inside.

  • at least the mustang revs like a true must should

  • dude why u wearing ballerina shoes

  • I figured you'd have to be gay to sell a badass car like that for someone else who can't drive a manual

  • Didn't that guy sell that car on CL so he could get a car with an auto trans for his girlfriend to drive?????

  • @metalman302 Yes, but it was for his boyfriend.

  • @nicolasd89 Do you know what mufflers this has on it?

  • @nicolasd89 wtf.

  • i still wanna put a 302 in a turdgen fbody ,this is a trip. wonder how well this set up does on the track.

  • This is a Ford I would love to drive. A Ford with a Gen 3 Chevy LS1 engine is badass. But however, I'd rather put a Ford 9" rear end in my Camaro. GM rear ends seem to be much weaker than the Ford 8.8" or 9". Too many people break those tiny 7.5" Camaro rear ends even with stock power...

  • @zzzurd Gen 4. And how about try a 12 bolt. Or a Dana 60. Ford is too unreliable.

  • @krisisbeast are you retarded? a 12 bolt will scatter across the ground with anything over 400hp. a ford 8.8 and 9 inch are the best rear ends ever made besides the dana 60.

  • @zzzurd so true , i have a 8.8 thats built to handle 1400 hp, dont even need a 9 inch really just put 41 spline axles and its good to go.

  • sa-wheeeet, i wanna put an ls1 in everything.

  • You did a great job. I like the way it sounds. For those who don't like it. Transit bus manufacturers do it all the time so does the transit agency's during the mid life rehab/upgrades of the buses. Engines they put in are Commins, Detroit Diesel, Mann, John Deere and even I heard LACMTA testing some NABI 42 BRT Hybrid w/ a Ford Triton V-10 engine. It's your car and you can do what you want and I think that is great what you did.

  • what trans is in it?

  • Ford wins the looks contest chevy wins for engines..point blank.

  • what year stang is that

  • smart man makin a half breed...the only way to go fast in an oval is to put a bowtie in it

  • ford makes it chevy shakes it.

  • To all the people dogging this guy, you obviously know nothing about cars. I would argue that the fox body is the finest american platform ever conceived. The combination of it's weight and simplicity. You can drag race them or tuned for the twistys. As far as the LS1, it's a match made in heaven. The LS1 is completely aluminum, so it probably weighs less than the 4 banger that was available with this car. Couple that with about $2500 in mods and your well over 550hp NA.

  • I LOVE it, I loved the foxbody mustangs for a good while and recently got into GM vehicles since it kinda runs in my blood..but damn I never stopped liking the foxbodies the ls1 purrs like a lion while idling and roars like a dragon when you hold that throttle wide open! Its easy to say I like both GM and Ford altho I prefer GM vehicles due to their more powerful n/a motors but damn that cars a beauty!

  • sounds WAY better than a shitty mod motor. that mustang finally knows how it feels to go fast lmao!

  • i think it is bad ass man. fluck everyone who talks sh!t.

  • Ford Tuff With Chevy Stuff! Nice Car Man, Been Looking At Doing Something Like This.

  • Nice setup! Sounds great!

  • HA! i love it! Puts ford in there place, i love it cause chevy is still using over head valve setup and ford just sucks so bad that they had to put soch and dohc that is almost a import thing to do makes ford look like fuckin pussies!

  • that things badass perfect combo a badass mustang and a very fast motor i dont care if its a chevy motor

    mustang + ls1 motor= badass ride

  • ive been thinkin about doing this for a while. I have a spare ls1/t56 laying around and a notchback rolling chassis. How hard/expensive was it to make this work? Did you buy the parts or make them?

  • So Awesome!

  • I can't say that I'd put a Chevy engine in my Ford but damn 0:35 sent a shiver down my spine.

    Nice.

  • why do people bitch about a chevy motor in a ford. i think it's the ultimate sign of respect that rather than leave the ls1 in the chevy he went out of his way to put it into a fox body. it's not an afternoon job.

  • Ford, Chevy.... Whatever That thing is NASTY

  • :) yay a rustang owner who gets a clue

  • I don't really care for the swap. I think it's interesting and ls1's do make alot of power, however, I think a ford car should be powered by ford. Chevrolets' should be powered by chevrolet. The windwor small block can be bored and stroked upwards of 400 cubic inches, you can keep the origional integrity of the vehicle and still have a bad ass machine.

  • @Derek13815 Haha, yup

  • @Derek13815 so true

  • @Derek13815 ok ill have him race me with my stroked 460 to 557 in my stang , ill smash the fuck out of that ls motor.

  • the best combination today an LS1 in a fox platform nice job

  • Hey man, I wanna do the same thing because chevy makes a good affordable motor and I want to use a fox body because they're light, look good and available. This build makes total sense to me. People's thinking is so black and white. The dude just wanted a fast car. If 1990's camaro's didn't look like a giant penis, i'm sure he would have chose that. Fox bodies have good style for their year.

  • atleast your not driving a fuckin honda around or some other ricer... so you got a little respect from me. haha

  • Man....... why. You could have atleast went with a 347 stroker. I'm not impressed. To each his own though. But I'm a diehard ford fan. and to stuff a chevy anything inside a ford is a disgrace to me.

  • Yea, but a 347 stroker is still an old Ford motor. Why bother when there are much better alternatives available?

  • @nicolasd89 Yeah like a 2011 GT 5.0 with 411 stock HP and a 6spd and its all ford. lol

  • @SuRihtanil Huh? You are talking about a car, not a motor... not to mention it's only been anounced, is not currently available, and most certainly will be much more expensive then an 11 yr old motor with a simple cam swap that makes just as much power. We'll ignore the fact that this swap was done years ago and my statement is just as factual today as it was when I posted it.

  • @nicolasd89 All I am saying is there is other options for people who like mustangs... To each his own but dang man why would you take a ford mustang and put its biggest rivals engine in it. Its just WRONG! lol I am sure if you had to sale it that it would sale but I would never buy it or want to look at it only because I am a die hard mustang fan and I think its just completely in poor taste.

  • @SuRihtanil Of course there are options, and depending on your criteria I suppose you could try to make a case for swapping a different Ford motor in there but your case would be pretty damn weak considering the only plus you could make for it TODAY would be that it's got the words Ford written on it. Glad you are a Ford fan but take off the blinders. People have been putting other company's motors in their Ford, Chevy, whatever for a long damn time.

  • @nicolasd89 Yeah but its mostly in 1942 fords or something to that nature with 350s in them not mustang GT.

  • @SuRihtanil And if everybody jumped off a bridge I bet you would too. To each their own.

  • @nicolasd89 For example, the guy who put the 2JZ in his 1st gen Camaro

  • @SuRihtanil

GM makes a better v8. plain and simple. Do you really need an explanation?

  • @originaldriver Yeah I agree, and it's why they went bankrupt. GG

  • @SuRihtanil

...And thats why they went "bankrupt?" Does that reply even make sense to you?

    Fail.

  • @SuRihtanil Are you blind or dumb? Ford tough with Chevy stuff. Which the ford tough part is just a joke. GM has the best line of engines ever made.

  • @krisisbeast no gm has the most mass produced engine evermade , dont make it the best. the only engine they have better than ford 427r is a the lsx.

  • @SuRihtanil I don't see how putting a better motor in a mustang is in poor taste.

  • @adict11789 a 302 is a good motor just as good as a 350, I would never put a 302 in my t/a or a 350 in my 5.0 but that's just me.... If you want a 350 buy a LT1 Z28 they're just as cheap as a foxbody mustang.

  • @SuRihtanil I don't disagree. The 302 is a solid motor. But the LSx makes for a solid platform. It makes a lot more power out of the box, and it's a cheap way to go fast. For example, I've got a buddy here in KC with a 6.0 LQ4-swapped third-gen firebird. All he did was put a TC78 on it, run the plumbing himself, tune it, and get it running on E85. That car has gone 9.8x iirc. He put that car together for about $7500. Now, get a motor like that in a gutted notchback fox, and you're really flying.

  • @NorthwestShredsesh Yeah this is the first time anyone has put a chevy motor in a ford. *cough 32 ford roadster *cough. Been doing that for years and years.

  • awesome motor , awesome car = shitty combination

  • I hope you realize that makes absolutely no sense.

  • i guess you can't tell that i was saying ls motors kickass and mustangs also kickass but the problem is it's a chevy motor in a ford. chevy should be powered by chevy and ford should be powered by ford.I've had 5.0's grew up on em and i have a camaro now,my second one. that makes plenty of sense to me peace!

  • No I could tell exactly what you were saying.. I was just waiting for you to say the typical lame ass ford's belong in a ford and chevy's belong in a chevy thing. It's a good thing that the world doesn't run according to you and that people have the freedom to do what the hell they want. People have been swapping motors since cars were invented... you might want to get used to it.

  • perfect sense........Its like putting a 427 CJ in a 55 Chevy Bel air!

  • @nicolasd89 i think he means that an LS1 is great in a GM and a fox is great with a 5.0... but not mixed. I disagree. sweet car!!

  • built ford tuff with chevy stuff...jk nice ride

  • it makes perfect sence puttin a GM motor in a ford all dude is tryin to do is make tha piece of shit not a piece of shit no more with general motar parts

  • what'd you spend on this swap?

  • y'd you put a gm motor in a ford??? doesnt make sense

  • niceeeee

  • Nice ride.

  • gtmuscrattool, man you really need to educate yourself. The garbage you are spouting is what gives teenagers a bad rep. You my friend have WAY too much internet knowledge and not enough first-hand experience. Stop working on your b18 and find a shop to turn some wrenches in, then post back.

  • I was j/w if you happened to know what exhaust system is being run on this car along with a list, if possible, of all the upgrades performance wise. I just bought an 03' LS2 that I was planning to put in a 88-93 notch. Thank you. AWESOME CAR!!!!! FORD MAKES IT CHEVY SHAKES IT!

  • A parts list? LOL! Sorry I don't have a parts list to provide as it was all pretty much custom.

  • Well I'm sure it was, but I meant such things as headers or mufflers cats or no cats any cam and things like that.

  • I don't understand why everyone is crying about putting an LS1 in a mustang. Who cares if they are made by different brands? The power and potential of any LSx series motor combined with the size and weight of a fox body is the perfect setup.

  • i like that you can do that on your street, your lucky to have cool neighbors (or am i wrong?) nice ride

  • 2010 Camaro SS is ~3900 lbs while the 2010 Mustang GT is ~3500 lbs. I know math must be hard for you but this should be pretty easy. Math also comes into play with my Camaro and it's time vs horsepower. Do the math on what a well launching 750 rwhp 3500lb sled will do and it works out to a mid 9, wrong again. While having a battle of wits is usually fun for me having it with an ignorant teenager is kind of boring, it's not even a challenge. I'll just remove any more new posts of yours.

  • HA! Wow... Not gonna start the Ford vs. Chevy war in here and with this audience. Keep it up Nic! Funny how most who are even die hard Ford people appreciate the power of the GenIII motors and then you still somehow get the simpletons that just don't appreciate the differences. For the record the same HP and graph I had with that little 5.3 in this coupe would of cost several thousand more to make if I were building an NA pushrod or modular Ford motor. I've had several fast modulars as well...

  • Haha I know right? It's not even my car but I still like ripping in to ignorant jackasses. :)

  • I appreciate the power of GM LSx engines. Just keep them In GM vehicles.

This is like saying "I love women but I'd rather fuck men!"

  • it doesnt weight more your full of shit the ls1 cant handle that much there is a limit to the stock push rod block im saying stock block making that much hp your the dumb fuck and that camaro should be doin at least 2 secs faster with that much more hp o ya one of my friends split his ls1 at 70 thousand miles not even drivin it hard i was with him fuck gm motors

  • 4.6 and 5.4s are stronger in the long run you can get like 1300 hp with a stock block i dont see ls1s doing that its also funny that the 2010 camaro has like 100 more horsepower with a way bigger displacement and its only a second faster than the mustang gt with the 4.6 forget the ls series its a joke

  • Yea, the LS1 blocks have been well past 1300 horsepower so try again. Actually, nobody ever has ever split an LS1 block due to too much power. It's funny you say the new Camaro is only 1 second faster than the mustang... 1 second is a HUGE difference and the Camaro weighs more as well. Anything else you want to show the world your ignorance on or is this enough?

  • dude the LS series are collectively the best series of engines ever made you dumbfuck, Ford motors suck dick.

  • Every single thing you just said was pure ignorance. I'm not even going to try to explain why everything you just said was wrong because your probably too dumb to understand why. Judging by all the B.S you just wrote, you have never even driven an LS powered car.

  • i am working on a fox body ls1 right now... I like what you did with the car

  • Thanks man. Great car to use for just about anything with how much aftermarket there is for mustangs it's hard to argue the combo...

  • to bad there is 5.4s running quicker times in fox bodies without superchargers including 4.6s it takes a fuckin ls1 to beat a 4.6

  • Huh? I'll try to decipher this post. Are you implying that there are 4.6L N/A motors making more horsepower than the LS1s with similiar mods? Because I sure as hell haven't seen simple bolt on cammed 4.6L or 5.4L N/A motors making anywhere near 420 rwhp like the LS motors do. You might want to take your whopping 19 years of life experience (3 of which you could drive) and do some research before you post again.

  • ruined that car all cars should keep their own bran would of done a 5.4 instead

  • Well it's a good thing that the world doesn't run according to you. Brands would be referred to as bran and people would say would of instead of would have. Well that and you need a blower on top of a 5.4L Ford motor to compete with an LS1 N/A. Yup, it's a good thing it doesn't work according to you.

  • Im a chevy person. But whats the point in that?

  • I am going to go with the obvious answer today... putting a modern power plant that makes great power yet gets great gas mileage in a lightweight vehicle like a fox body equals one fast and fun car.

  • LOVE IT

  • itz like puttin a penuz on a bomb azz bitch... y would u?...

  • LMFAO, that sentence had me rolling. Can I get a translation?

  • now thats a real engine in a ford

  • Yeah considering it's just an updated Ford 302 built by GM.

  • you are an admirable man. u take one of the best motors and put it into one of the best bodies with no prejudice. i'd like to see you pop that hood so we can see that baby.

  • Should of built a 351 stroker motor - The 408W motors are monsters in those coupes.

  • wished they make a video with him holding it in first until it hit a higher rpm. that's kind of hard on the bottom end.

  • isn't this thing turbo'd now and for sale on LS1tech??

  • that a boy, put the traitors goods under the hood. u've chosen the right side.

  • who are you calling a traitor? chevy?

  • That's pretty fuckin sweet. I would kill a drifter for that car.

  • HA!

  • what exhaust setup are you running

    cam sounds good too

  • LOL, the guy whos always trying to hustle kids at armandos for money by acting like its a stock 5.0.

  • If anybody believes it's a stock 5.0 than they deserve their money to be taken.

  • I didnt, I know one of you guys built a 10 second civic.

  • LOL if they don't shit their pants as soon as it starts up.. their money's gone.

  • LOL people are putting Fords in Chevy's every day look at the Ford 9" rear end,so if you got a 9" rear end in your Chevy why cant ppl put a chevy into a Ford," Next up folks is a 2008 Z-06 motor in a Fox body AIIGHT !!!

  • is this the Dave from svc in az

  • yes sir...

  • rad

  • badazz! ,,,,you're gonna need subframe connectors haha :)

  • Like a retard with viagra they'll stick it in anything. Chevy guys and their LS1's. GT500 engine swaps are cooler.

  • Ya and like a retard who knows EVERYTHING - that he's read in a magazine of course.... You probably think the GT500 swap would be easier since its a Ford right? Putting a GT500 swap in the same category for comparison sake to this motor is about like comparing Lamborghinis and Fiero's. Next....

  • I've seen it done. Bet that made you feel stupid didnt it?

  • LOL not at all. Since GT500 swaps are a dime a dozen where's yours?

  • I'm onto a different project I think a GT500 would be a bit pricey. I have however thought about a Terminator swap. Same horsepower abilities much cheaper.

  • "much cheaper" doubt that part, but sure would be a great swap, a pulled 03-04 cobra engine with t56 will be almost 10 grand I'd bet, I've seen a couple of "fix up" 03-04 cobras for around 13-15 grand

  • Awesome swap! The ls1 is a great engine. All your really doing is a speed upgrade sowhat is the engine is from a competitor. The ls1 is lighter than the 5.0 and the 4.6 is a little top heavy from the ohc's. Awesome car!!!!!!

  • Is there something wrong with the video or is that a subcompact version of the Mustang?

  • No, it's the subcompact version of the mustang.

  • Nope. It's just a coupe.

  • LOL

  • LOL.....tell me how you really feel CLEETUS! You're just angry cuz you thought only you and your kinfolk could inbreed aren't ya? I knew this would upset the edumacated' folk.....

  • you're a fucking jerk now the mustang ear like shit going out from you ass hole to your mom's mouth G-M suck's comme en bon quebecois dla grosse criss de marde dla dompe esti !

  • I have a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban that has a 454 cammed, supercharged, and sprayed at the track. It hasn't blown a rod, head gasket, cracked the block, or anything of the sort. GM is a great automaker, Don't put them down for anything. They are good cars and engines.

By the way, 10 second quarter mile. Pretty good for a 3 ton car.

  • nice

  • sacriligious

  • LMAO....fast is fast. I am a big time Ford guy, love the cars but the 5.0 motors are no doubt lacking by todays standards and cost more to build than what I had into the entire swap. The LS1 is a stout motor and a very reasonably priced swap.... Pretty hard to beat the bang for the buck factor I achieved with this build in my opinion.

  • True about bang for the buck, not much LS1 at the wreckers round here, but the LQ9 engines are way cheaper than the 4.6 and 5.4. and I mean by thousand $ or more. So I'm seriously considering an LQ9 swap into my Crown vic.

  • wow you have a sick ass coupe dude, probably one of the cleanest that i have seen around, especially with that ls1

  • nice im doing a 6.0 truck motor for my notch right now, got a part number on the mufflers thanks..

  • God...and that's only first!

  • definately 2nd when they broke free. but very cool.

  • A stang i can like for once..Chevy Power
