The Sudeten Germans were indeed oppressed in the newly-founded Czechoslovakian state. This problem should have been solved without Hitler`s interference. Why weren`t they given the right to home rule as practised everywhere else in Europe. After decades of Communismus a lot of Czechs still believe the Benes Decrees are right.
