I'm sorry but that day made me cry and cry. Still, to this day I cry when the topic of 9/11 is brought up. NO ONE, I don't care what race you are, who you think is responsible, what you believe what happened, NO ONE should have suffered the way those innocent folks did. I personally hope those poor folks went quickly so they didn't feel any pain. I remember this episode, and it was by far very comforting to see people come together and comfort one another. R.I.P 9/11 Victims.
Damn and this was before flat screen tv's, before myspace, facebook, youtube, the internet was sort of in its infancy, dvd's were finally getting attention. time fly's, this is crazy. i miss the real world from the 90's & early 00's and I miss the road rules & early Road Rules vs Real World battles. I cant watch the new rw, its just not the same.
Great season, great episode. I loved how they brought the candle-lighting thing to Tonya who was waiting tables at a diner that night. One of the better seasons.
keri was cute, but she spent most of the time chasing after that pompous douche whatever happened to her? never saw her on any post real world shows .
@TayInTheWay I freaking agree, Chicago was one of the last good seasons. Although I did like Paris, and a few others. The Real World should be canceled and forever remain a legend to our generation that grew up to it.
I mean, it's "staged" as in... if the roommates were off doing something else while this was happening, then of course they wouldn't have access to it.
They don't get TV in the house so this was an exception. So yes, I'm sure they were all gathered and shown clips.
If someone has this season they should upload it! I would love to watch.
@chibividz this is true. i read somewhere that the cast members were off at a park somewhere when this all happened and they were brought back to the house and shown clips to create a "moment." i'm sure their emotions are real, but this scene was put together by the show for the season.
What I read around once is that this is staged, they were doing a photo shoot at Wrigley Field while this happened. My take is that they were at the photo shoot and production gathered important clips of the event from the news (such as the collapsing and airplanes hitting the buildings) just for the roommates to know because all of this happened in the course of 192 minutes...I doubt they just stayed there, did not move and the camera filmed everything
@arturocas90 That's not staged. They actually watched those clips and had those reactions, and production edited it (you know...like they do for *every* episode), otherwise the episode would be hours long of them just watching TV. Stop trying to turn it into some kind of conspiracy theory.
omg this is the best season of the real world ever
