  • this is why i want this one, even tho the vado has wayy better color......

    the swivel :)

  • uhhh the fps is horrid.

  • Is it possible to get a tripod for this? because I'm thinking about getting this camcorder but i want to be able to have a tripod for it. Someone please respond!

  • @TaylorSwiftLuvr11 ya if u look on the bottom of ur camer theres a spot for a mount. as i can see, its the same size as my dslr nikon camera

  • I just bought one for 90 dollars at walmart.

  • Seems like a cellphone camera but in HD.

  • so whats better this or the creative vado HD?

  • This camera is sweet,for 100 dollors u cant go wrong.takes stills,its mp4,and does 1080p(mostly)

and has exspansion slots for external memory. so there are alot of ++ with this camera. if u are looking for super duper uber hd,then get ready to dish out 600 bucks

  • It shakes

  • its okay in hd

  • @SKATERKUKAC no lol

  • i have an Athlon AMD processor is that good enough?

  • ITS NOT THE CAMREA YOU DUMBASSES ITS UR processer chip it needs to be core 2 duo or higher jesus christ check ur damn CPU and if it jumps to 100 then i'm telling the truth....

  • Since when does the CPU process video? That crap goes through the graphics card.

  • if you could get more videos of this camera that would be really great! i a getting this camera for christmas and i would like to get a heads up on it so thank you and ill be looking out :)

  • Wow.. I'm thinkin about buying this one, it really has a excelent quality!

Congratulations for your video, I was looking for videos like this and this one is excelent!

  • Quality is choppy due to slow computer download. THis video we are watching is on the internet and H.D. quality takes more time to upload. If this was downloaded to your computer and you watched, the "choppiness" would most likely be non existent.

  • When you watch this in HD it looks pretty good.

  • it looks jellowie whent you pan fast

  • is this san francisco? =P

  • vimeo is much better for HD, no choppiness. try looking there.

  • ... i dont know, its a bit choppy at the beginning...

  • its your weak cpu lol if you dont have a core 2 duo prosesser or high you cant see the true hd

  • plz help me. I just got one of these things and I am having trouble. The video uploads fine, but after it is completed it is in slow motion and the video stretches about two times as long. It is really getting on my nerves and i have asked so many people who cant help. Im begging you. it is really frustrating.

  • what video editing program are you using?

  • it not the camera its you compter your processer chip needs to be core 2 duo or higher and your vids would play smoother

  • I read the camera doesn't have image stability or some technical name for it. Meaning if you have shaky hands, or not, the vid will wobble around slightly, like in the opening of this vid. I plan to buy (or make) a tripod so I can set it down, so no biggie for me.

  • Its pretty good when its still.

  • is youtube not good for uploading hd cause its always choppy

  • its your processor that makes it choppy.

  • i thought this camera was youtube friendly

  • this camera comes with a flash for still shots, right? please reply soon

  • it comes with flash for when recording movies/videos in low light areas

  • yeah

  • When you move the camera the image looks strange, maybe still recordings are recommended for webbie.

  • can you upload a zoom test and name it "sony webbie zoom test" so i can find it later on youtube..

  • hey itshd,

i'll post side-by-side stills from the webbie hd, the zi6, and kodak's new zx1 in the next couple of days... stay tuned.

  • I'm having trouble deciding between this camcorder or a Flip MinoHD. Which do you think I should get? I want the best video quality (I feel that the Flip has better), But I don't want to be limited to the memory I can have.

  • best video quality i've seen thus far is actually the creative vado hd, which also has a noticeably wider-angle lens. the microphone on it is pretty weak, though.

i'm about to upload sample clips from pretty much every HD pocket camcorder out there right now, so stay tuned. you'll get a better idea of how 5 pocket camcorders fare against one another...

  • kodak zx1

  • I think the Kodak ZX1 has the sony & flip beat. Might want to check it out. It's water resistant too.

  • Yeah I bought one for my niece last month and from what I seen the videos look a little bit better with the Kodak Zx1 , I have a few videos on my youtube page that I recorded with it.

  • yes - at 1080/30fps. the source mpeg-4 file looks a lot smoother than this youtube clip.

  • ALOT smoother? because youtube makes it seem a little choppy.

  • it can get pretty choppy when you pan the camera around a lot, but the choppiness is amplified significantly after uploading to youtube.

  • best example is when i pan from the building across the street to the sidewalk i'm on in this clip (0:09 - 0:13). it's fairly smooth and undistracting in the source file, but in this youtube clip, it's really choppy. i don't think any pocket camcorder has optical image stabilization yet, which is a shame.

  • was this filmed in the highest quality?
