Went to Rocky Canyon for the first time today and was basically chased off the land by some crotchety old rancher who stated that I was trespassing on private property. Does anyone know if this is true?
Most of Rocky Canyon is private property, only the very northeastern edge is owned by BLM. To get access you need to call the ranch manager. The number is on a large sign where most people ride their horses.
