  • You can spot the change up coming. She slows down her motion. Her pitches are NOT illegal. BOTH feet have to be on rubber to start pitch and hers are. AFTER the motion she pivots. Pivoting on heel is bad.....she is losing power because of it

  • She is illegal at times. She is placing the heel of her right foot on the rubber to drive, but since its only the heel, when she moves it slightly (at the begiining of the pitch she has a slight pivot) her heel comes off the rubber at the beginning of the pitch so that both feet are not starting on the rubber as she begins, Jennie Finch does do this, but she has been called for illegal pitches because of it

  • are u pitching in college

  • Yes, thats a perfectly legal pitch. The only advice I would offer would be to stay taller in the beginning of your pitch. Your burning allot of energy and adding extra un-needed movement bending so far down just to pop back up again. Monica Abbott is the same way (lol, worse actually), but she's very unconventional. Jenny Finch's dad preaches the virtue of staying tall in the beginning of the pitch. Glad to see you don't do that dumb leg slap with your glove, that drives me crazy. Looks good!!

  • ummm i am pretty sure both my feet are on the rubber. my front foot doesnt leave the mound until i start to drag it.

  • I think its in reference to her heel is on rubber when she start but her foot is actually off the mound which is illegal....but jenny finch gets away with it and its alot worse than that

  • i have never been called for an illegal pitch. why do you ask?

  • How many times have you been called for an illegal pitch?

  • I don't see where she is illegal. What about this pitch is illegal in NSA, ASA, NCAA, or FED? She is within the lane (see the lines?), both feet on the rubber, no leap or crow hop, and arm goes around one time but no more than two, and steps on the rubber with hands seperated. Looks legal to me.
