Nice speed Cyrille. I think that the few errors you make are perfectly fine for live performance. Don't forget that all those 'perfect' renditions that we've listened to over the years have had the wrong notes edited out in a studio during post production, so well done.

Well done Cyrille! It's an extreemly difficult piece. You have a lovely touch so it did sound like a butterfly. I sometimes feel it takes so much physical energy to play it even though it sounds light and cheerful to the listener. Do you find that too? The last few bars are really tricky but you played them very well. Op.25/8 is a good one for you, have you tried that yet?

You obviously have fun with this piece!

But may I gently suggest you play it a bit slower. Believe me, I know the difference between what feels like "chasing" a piece versus having it flow naturally.

I think if you keep repeating "lentement" to yourself the whole time you play it, that even if you slow down only 10 or 15 % you'll find that you play it much more cleanly... and it may even "sound" faster because it won't sound forced.

(Now, if only I could heed my own advice...LOL...)

Of course your advice is a good one, and I agree with you... The fact is that I'm not sure I could play it perfect clean with 10% slow down, without a deep rebuilding work.

But for this I'd need much more time in a day...and find time is really my problem today !
