@MadHatterRules Look up 'heathersocarina zelda' and that ocarina is in C major, I believe. Or look up stlocarina [[dot]] com, find an ocarina in C major and listen to a sound sample

If youre having problems with the video buffering trying clicking a little further past the time marker and pause it. let it buffer a little more then play. worked for me.

@IronNinja42 I find it helpful and I'm still playing by tabs. I do plan on learning sheet music once I'm better, but in the meantime, knowing basic music theory and the staff could help you to make your own tabs.

Do all octaves start with C? And go from like, C-D-E-F-G-A-B? Or is an octave labeled by what letter it starts with? E.g. A-B-C-D-E-F-G, or F-G-A-B-C-D-E.

If the piano has several octaves and letters are repeated (like how he said C1, C2, C3, C4, etc), then how do you know what pitch it is at? Like if an ocarina is tuned to "C major", how do I know if it's tuned to C1, or C2, or yeah....o_o?

Actually, it's not that hard, once you get it down... I knew absolutely /nothing/ about music notes before this (besides a half year of piano when I was five and only went because "mommy made me"), and I understand it pretty well, so maybe I can help. What parts confuse you?

u can play scales in C, D, or E, but not in F, G, A, or B, and that includes all the accidentals in between for both
