shit man. in the USA, the police would have smashed the camera, slapped the camera man and probably mentally and physically abused the guys in handcuffs. i can't believe they were so relaxed about being filmed. i've never seen that before.. They are also relaxed on weed, in my 10 years of smoking weed I have never met anyone that has gone to jail for having pot nor have I even tho I have been busted with alot over the years I mean alot and some dont take some do, some dump it. If your at a buss stop puffing on a joint the cops will just roll by, but if they see you with liqour they will stop u seach u etc, they hate liquor cuz it causes more problems.

dealing with the mentally ill can be a tough thing to do... it takes a hell of a toll on anybody but for the most part people have respect... people like msterriyes simply dont understand and probably wont until its too late for them. patients have options... sure there are lawyers and formal complaints, they can also talk to other people with less orthodox ways of solving the problem...

Wow the VPD are trying to change their name form the Vicious Pack of Dogs. In the old days (2005 and earlier) the VPDogs used to come up and grab a dealer by the neck and slam him to the ground. If he got up he then had his arm twisted from his shoulder socket and then was shoved into a wall face first while the dog pulled his arm right out of the socket. The VPDogs never even had to tell the guy why they were doing this.

I am so shocked!!!Every Canadian who visits the US claims there is no drug problem in Canada.They also claim that there are only Three--count 'em--three murders due to guns in Canada every year.No one ever goes hungry or homeless in Canada. Canada is covering up a much larger problem.So glad my family line ended up in the States unlike my unlucky cousins who live in Liarsville, Canada.

@AnimationBooks Actually it was on the new hastings street is the only place in the world where there is so many homeless/drug addicts and people with mental illness, i dont think its necessarily good to bunch them up in one area, but to them its probably easier to "monitor" and control.

@AnimationBooks I never said they where animals, nor am i a rich asshole. I feel sorry for them as well, alot of them have illness and alot of them cannot get help. To even go on welfare or anything you need an address, for some of them i can see how that would be difficult. I have walked down hasting.. plenty of times and have felt bad for many. By the way if you know anything about addictions its that people do things they would not normally do when wanting drugs, i almost got stabbed before .
