Hey i see you have a 3 inch body lift and a torsion shackle lift but did you have to use off set rims to fit 33's and if so what size and also did you have to trim the front wheel well corners to clear them when turning? thanks.
Thanks, yeah I had to add 1-1/2" spacers to fit the tires, plus trim the fron wheel wells. they still rub a bit if it bounces on a full turn, but all in all it was a nice cheap way to get it lifted. I wish I had more money to lift it more though LOL
Flow masters only last about a year or two i have an 03 dodge durango sxt with custom exhaust that sounded better then the flow master and it was cheaper then the flow master as well...
that durango looks realy good what size are those rimes 15X8? i will be makeing a new video soon of my 1999 durango iv added a few things since my last posted video
het love that color you got i want to get that bull bar with the big round fog lights on my 99 durango did you put yours in your self the bull bar would be ez to install but i never installed foglight before anything you could help me with
i realy like the look of your durango i just got mine maybe 2 months ago and im just starting to add to i think the last thing im going to do is go with a nice set of rims and tires but i dont think im going with offroad wheels and tires i dont meybe? come see mine got more videos comeing soon
@swampthang89 you don't have to, but the stock dodge shocks are total crap. Mine needed to be replaced so I swapped them out for a set of Rancho's... I can't remember the part number though...
well I'm on 150,000+ miles and haven't had any tranny problems. Mine a 1998 and is the model with the most problems. I believe the 2000-2003 are the models with the least problems for the 1st gen Durangos. If you can fins a low mileage one I'd say go for it. My Durango has treated me well.
hey bud you should buy it my cousin bought a 2001 with a 5.9 i liked it so much i bought a 2001 with a 5.9 i have done alot of things to mine id say its making about 330-390 hp and no problems yet
that sounds like a great truck man!! i have a 2002 durango 4.7L i wish i had the 360 like you, i hear those things get REALLY beastly if you put a glasspack or straight pipe the muffler! but 330-390 horsepower is a big range you should see if you can narrow it down to a closer range for your hp man!!
did you need to run a high output altinator with all the extra lights? im in the process of adding 4 more to my 5.9 durango (already added 2) and am curious if il have power issues
An Altinator isn't a bad idea, but it's not needed. As long as the engine is running the lights work fine. Mine are 2 6" 250watt on a seperate switch, 2 square 55watt on a seperate switch, then I upgraded the fog light to 2 55 watt fog lights. I can turn them all on and really light stuff up without draining the battery, but that's with the engine running
what i want to know is in park the 50 and 70 i think sound better but what about when driving which sounds the most agressive??? i heard the 40 series does...but i'm not sure....
The tires are 33" Firestone Destination MT's on 16" american racing "Baja" rims with 2" wheelspacers to fit the rubber. I have a 3" performance accessories Body Lift, 2" Belltech rear shakles, 2" reindexed torsion keys
No problem man... I have a Video editor on my computer, So I just used the sound bite of my exhaust and used that for the sound track of the video... I use it for all of my videos... The editor that is. It also allows you to add titles and stuff too
Is your muffler the 50 series delta flow? How loud is it in person? How loud is it in the truck during normal driving? This is the muffler I was thinking about getting for my 2002 Durango because I think the 40 series mufflers will be to loud for me.
It was made by a company that was called Grille Tech... I don't think they are around anymore though. I have now replace the whole grille shell and inserts with a one peice open chromed one.... I gotta get a new vid up soon...LOL
I put my camera right under the exhaust tips to get the sound bite.... Then I picked it up and walked around my D with it to get the Video.... Then I just put the two together... If you look at the vid no one is in the driver seat either.... And actually my tips are pointed out not down, so no dust would be flying up...
yea well at least you recorded your own truck and didnt put the sound of an old musclecar or somethin with like 1000 hp on there cause that would be gay
Very nice Durango.

The 40 is the most aggressive parked or moving, but you'll have some significant cabin drone with the 40.
