I think hes wanting a daughter that isnt bombarded by the violence of today, but isnt swamped and swarmed with "everything has a happy ending".

I think you should let your daughter watch some more mature movies than just making some for her with dubbed music.

plus, you shouldnt hide things like the swordplay in this movie from you children for long. Its the same as having them watch bugs bunny until theyre 20.

Rent the movie--it's worth seeing. In this scene, everyone believes shes' blind. This is a challenge where each drum has a slightly different pitch and she's supposed to hit the drums in the order the beans struck them. He tries to trip her up by throwing the whole bowl at once. In the segment you ask about she's supposedly getting it right, or at least faking it convincingly enough to impress everyone and through him off guard so she can snatch his sword.

Hmm yeah, the set, most of the time is DAMN nice. but the plot is too weak and the romance is too cheesy. that's why. this part is nice tho, the drum part. but most of the problem, for me is the plot. they build up steam too much at the beginning and this director likes to make weird twists in the story which is only disappointing, not WOO! he did that in Hero too. and not everyone on this page has to like this movie you know. and even if Cmovies are not my cup of tea (they are),ppl can judge o

To All those comments bellow bashing simpsons. Its perhaps the best animation of american satire ever made. Describes american life and touched on so many issues from politics to philosphy. There is two ways of watching simpsons, as a 5 year old (u will still enjoy it) as an adult(u will see a different layer)... You guys i'm guessing is watching it from the 5 yr old perspective. Actually, she loved it. She's in ballet class already & loves watching pretty women dance in pretty clothes. I also made one with family pics edited in with scenes from Sleeping Beauty, so maybe that helped make the DVD interesting to her. The song is Called Opaline. It's by Dishwalla and is on an album also called Opaline. It's an EXCELLENT album!!! I highly recommend it if you like this song at all.

Minor, I thought about it of course. But she doesn't have the context of the rest of the movie or any sexual connotation to bring to her perception. She just sees it as magic that it flies up, and when he grabs her it doesn't seem any more violent than when she wrestles with her brother. The evil queen in Snow White scares her a lot more!
