  • I have to do a paper on 3 things I might want to be when I get out of high school in 2 years.

PA was one of the things on my list.

Can someone please tell me how much money a PA makes, the requirements to become one, and possibly 3 colleges/universities I could go to in order to get the job?

  • @nathanlurie The salary range for a PA varies by the specialities and type of practice. Usually PAs start out around $80,000. Most employers require PAs to be licensed and graduated from an accrediated PA school. In Michigan there are currently five PA schools: Central Michigan University, Grand Valley, University of Detroit Mercy, Wayne State University and Western Michigan University.

  • @UofMHealthSystem thanks a ton.

Sadly my dad refuses to let me be anything that has the word assistant or anything else that says "Im gonna take orders from you while you take all the credit."

He told me that I better decide to be a physician instead.

  • I am jealous, this is my dream. Of course, this is a very difficult program to get into here.

  • @HoneiiDiiva The University of Michigan does not currently have a PA program.
