In the beginning you said "unlike most toads"... They are actually not toads, but frogs. They have the name "Fire Belly TOADS" because of their rather warty skin. But they are part of the frog family.
@TheZaky9 yes you can i had my first in a 5.5 and they were fine and i ended up getting another one and i put them both in the same 5.5 gallon tank. i did though end uo getting a 10 gallon for them, but they were fine in the 5.5 galon for the about month and a half i had them in there.
