so i have a question i have have Adobe Premiere® Pro CS5.5 and Adobe After Effects® CS5.5 right i just don t have a green screen so heres my question once i buy a green screen sheet do i have to install anything with the green screen sheet or would Adobe After Effects® CS5.5 just kno i have the green screen sheet with out instaillin anything and i can goo straight to editin the video i shot with the green screen sheet once i have the sheet im all set it just comes down to editin on Adobe After E

How about a tutorial that's about ACTUALLY doing green screen pulls correctly? And using the Keylight plugin correctly instead of the quick hack job there at the end. Making film-effect quality green screen comps in After Effects is totally doable, even with abysmal shots. And since you know the tools well enough, show people how. Nice instruction though, besides.

When I did this, It keyed the green out but it made it all black instead of having that transparent checkerboard look that you have at 2:02. What am I doing wrong?

That was fantasticly helpful! Thank you!! -- Just one question, I've been using 'color key' not 'key light' --key light worked much better, but color key allows you to feather the edge a little bit, so it's not so harsh.

Any suggestions as to how to do that having used key light instead?

The whole point to keylight is that it retains blur and hair in strands. This way your removing all those features and getting a standard key. It is possible to get near real life perfect keys from this application. Have a look at my videos and check out Keylight cell. You've got a state of the art tool there don't waste it dude. p.s I'm a self taught film maker since 1989 just so you know I'm not some tit telling you what to do.
