Ok so my rom won't open up. It opened once but showed nothing from the stage, just a long black line. Also everything shows up as a question mark. Like the banana icon is named ??? for some reason. Please help me.

does this work for the other donkey kong games? cause I want to edit Donkey Kong 2. Also on the mine level and you edit the track that the mine car goes on? I want to make a crazy one espacially on donkey kong 2 on the roller coaster one since I love coasters.

As easy as Lunar Magic (SMW Editor). However I think it will be harder to edit each level because they have such I wide variety of graphics. Is an overworld editor available?

i am thinking of trying this out. But I would preferably like a version that lets me make DKC2 levels instead, is it possible to use objects/sprites/etc from DK2 in this? If not, can Dixie Kong at least be used?

I have DKC on my wii. Can I save my level on an sd card and put it in my wii? OR does it have to be DKC on the computer?

That depends. If you bought DKC from the Wii Shop Channel, then no, you cannot. [Not without switching the rom inside it..Don't bother.]

If you're emulating it via homebrew channel, yes, you can easily put your level on your Wii.

To get sound on HyperCam:

1) Right Click the Little Sound Icon in the bottom right corner.

2)Click Playback devices, Recording Tab

3) Right Click, "Show Disabled Devices"

4)Enable Stereo Mix by Right CLicking it

5) Run HyperCam as an Administrator one cagain by right clicking it xD there ya go!

It's in Japanese, and your computer doesn't understand that language. Mine does the same thing.

This looks great and all, but every rom I try using with it results in an error, which comes up mostly as crap since the japanese text doesn't display, and afew offsets, is there a specific version of the rom that must be used?

Ok, so I downloaded a (U) 1.0 rom, aswell as 3 or 4 others from various sources. Most of them still come up with the same error, however it sometimes loads levels that are completely black, with some squares and numbers. Any ideas on what I should do?

I'm not quite sure what you mean by that. But it allows you to place what you want, where you want.

I've made the terrain for my first level...

but since the level editor doesn't seem to edit where enemies are... I have to use cfhworld's "Simple DKC Hack" method to do it.

Finally, this is awesome. But my own Level Builder project will not be canceled.

While this is a great editor, the Level Builder is very different. Since it will not be an editor for the ROM but an engine imitating it, it will be much easier to use, user friendly, and more flexible.

Actually, it's not that easy to use this editor. It was built copying the blocks used in Donkey Kong, but they include the background. So to make something, it will look very similar to the original Donkey Kong, but perhaps in different orders.
