While I think it's great Pulp Fiction brought a whole slew of new fans to this great band, I do find it sorta sad that most only think of the movie, instead of the great surf scene that happened in SoCal(and across the US) in the early/mid sixties.

youre right, i don;t see why someone has down thumbed you, but at the end of the day, the surf scene in socal and accross america, is not able to reach a wide, international audience, whereas pulp fiction has.

I think the movie helped for many people, the discovery of a new genre, a new style of music, but saying that i can see that in some respect, it will hinder the music, as it will always be shaddowed by the film.
