We seek the truth, yet we do not seek God's mercy, because the truth is hard to find, and only God possesses it. How can we be like this? Is this what our fathers taught us? Is this the peace and love everyone seeks? I think not... It is not for me to decide, and we are all blind... Let God guide us all and wake us up, make us see! Do not doubt his power, believe in it, and we shall see His wonders!
You ask yourselves why. You ask yourselves why did Israel do that. You think that we wouldn't, and blame them for everything. Blame! Do they deserve it? Arent we the same?! We live in sins! Are we good enough so that God would turn his face to us? Are we any different from those people back then, who still didn't believe, after all they saw? No! We're not different at all. We see wonders every day, but we forget to thank our Lord. ...
This is barbaric. If even one person (or animal for that matter) has to be sacrificed in the name of God, then that law can be neither spiritual or good. These people killed their own. Too much guilt and vengeance for those who claim to be in touch with God. Thankfully most of us have moved beyond these barbaric traditions and rituals.
@ajrimmer10 then you don't quite understand the love of God, the animal sacrifices, are always because of sin, it is a substitute for the person who committed the sin. example, you break a law of the land, lets say grand theft auto, you make bail as in you pay money so that you don't have to do jail time. what is that?? substitution.so we see (though that is a poor and weak example) that substitution is used till this day, the difference is the severity (sin) and the the method of substitution.
@pm12charlier I believe that God Blesses the whole world with No Exceptions, even animals are Gods creatures. I abide by Christs Law and "render unto Caesar, that which is his". Try to check out the excellent film Apocalypsis Revelation, with Richard Harris as St. John. Moses, Paul and John, the Alpha and Omega, the Old and the New, both are valid and we are all free as created by God. Ultimately its what you see in your heart. God speaks to us in different ways, but HE is the same God of all.
I find it absolutely, impossibly ungrateful that after watching God split an entire sea, after seeing Him descend on Mount Sinai with thunder, lightning, smoke and fire, hearing His angels sound their trumpets to announce the arrival of the King of Creation, that ANYONE would break faith with Him. It just seems impossible. Why Israel? How could you be so ungrateful, so filled with wickedness? I know I would not.
@SohnvonChristus i really respect what u said mate but that is what children of Israel really are. Some of them were good but mostly ungreatful so God punished them for there sins
@tradbowseven Did you create that life? God has power over all, and for that sakes, He can do as He pleases. Wow God is so merciful, see the way you say "WTF" over what Our Heavenly Father has said....
I don't get why people challenge or question God, He is the finisher of our faith.
@tradbowseven who is ur Master? if HE gave u the life when u were nothing HE has full athority to u back and indeed unto HIM u shall return and then HE will tell u what u used to do
