what i don't under stand is the comment about Honda's having no torque. i mean fair enough the Honda engine make it high up the rev range but when you look at what it makes against other cars. for example the 106 gti it makes 118 hp and 107 ft·lbf out of a 1.6 16 v where the Honda make 158 hp and 111 ft-lbf. and the b16a4 found in ek's in japan make 170hp with 116 ft-lbf. so i don't really see how anyone can say they don't have any torque

Civic 210bhp - 179bhp at the wheels - 21bhp transmission loss
so you are then comparing two cars that weigh the same - one has 220whp the other 179whp
and the 179whp car came out on top
so you know nothing about what the term transmission loss means as the car that still had more wheel horse power lost

its not my vxr, its stevo's. And explain how he's had plenty of chances? Ure cars not been seen down that car park in ages, ure runnin scared. Ure the one who said up the tech park you could beat stage 2 tuned vxr's, so as i've said, you should have no problem against a standard one.

what i don't under stand is the comment about Honda's having no torque. i mean fair enough the Honda engine make it high up the rev range but when you look at what it makes against other cars. for example the 106 gti it makes 118 hp and 107 ft·lbf out of a 1.6 16 v where the Honda make 158 hp and 111 ft-lbf. and the b16a4 found in ek's in japan make 170hp with 116 ft-lbf. so i don't really see how anyone can say they don't have any torque

v-tec- vehicle torque eliminated completely.

yea it was a vts, he was telling me how fast it was and how he beat a rx8 the nite before. he said to me after it that when we went round the bend he looked behind him to see where i was and i was going past him :)
