  • Sounds like something Volcaloid would do.

  • ASH-U-RY!

Also, the voice is higher in the Japanese version because there she's supposed to be 6, while in the English one is labelled at 16. No explanation give

  • @HelioDanto91 No shes not, she 15 in both. She has a high voice because that's how the creators wanted her.

  • i like both versions :)

  • I've been under Ashley's spell ever since playing WarioWare Touched! T_T

  • I love this song!!!!

  • now you have just to learn that moe always equals epic

  • she sounds 3 lolz

  • Awesome :3.

  • OK, it kinda sounds like Miku Hatsune at points. 0.o

  • English voice- epic

    Japanese voice- moe

  • @EpicEevee9001 Isn't that how it always is when it comes to English vs Japanese?

  • The thing is, the lyrics for the English version of the song are completely different from the Japanese version. This version she's bragging about how great she is and how everyone in the world loves her.

BTW, Rachel Alucard from Blazblue kinda reminds me of her...

  • She sounds kind of like Hatsune Miku. :3

  • @ninjamitsuki No you faggot.

  • Comment removed

  • The japanese one is better. Cuter = Better. Always :P

  • I love this, but i'm fag.

  • I prefer Ashley's Japanese voice, but I prefer the English lyrics.

  • My Friend Diana. sounds like this. i wanna get her to do a cover ;A;

  • No, no matter how many times I listen to this, I like the English better...

  • nawa bna nu... spell of laugh

zio ira wn... spell of --what?

io di em... I have no more memory for them!

    ------

nawabnanuzioirawniodiem -> meido in wario izu nanba wan

("Made in Wario" is No.1 / "Wario Ware" is the best)

  • Anybody want Ashley to be playable in the next Smash games?

  • @7chaoemerald Yes!!!

  • Mai name is Ashley :DD

    I love this<3

  • I like the english way better. Yeah, this sounds like a little girl but english is funny and good

  • a-shu-ry!

  • The differences between the voices is slightly cultural in nature.

Most English-speakers think of deeper voices for the creepy little girls.

However, if you watch anime, often you'll hear softer voices like this for this type of character. The cute-but-deadly effect.

..I really can't decide between the two versions! Both just scream 'Ashley' in their ow way! :D

  • @caramelkoopa I beleive that the American Ashley is rather "Snarky" instead of creepy... while it sort of fits, I prefer this version's voice though... I think it might have been interesting if Japan's ashely sung the american version...

  • OMG this is good along with BOTH english versions!!

  • i dont know if i like the Japanese version or the English ..........whats the feeling ?

  • Ashley sounded like a 6 years old girl

  • The voice is too small and cute. Not intimidating at all. I like the English version much better.

  • this one is less broadway sounding than the english version and it sounds cuter/creepier than the english version...and i find it a little catchier...idk

  • "awa, buna, nuu" spells of laugh! "hio, ira, umm! " What is this spells? "io,di,emu!" I can't memorize it! oh,no! It's boring! ※refrain (1) Sea of night sky, many stars. I'm always lonely. I want to be friends with everyone! what should I do? ※refrain (2)
  • sorry about I can't use english well.

    english sub

    ※repert (1)

Best in the world, and popular person for everyone,it's her thing,"Ashley"!

Whoever looks back just by looking at her.

    Of course, because I'm "Ashley"!

    ※refrain (2)

Everyone in the world longs for her,it's her thing,"Ashley"!

    Her magic is supreme!

I will hold a party on this night!

  • @putikolover1 give me whole translations!!!

  • Lol at the weaboos trolling much.

  • The jazzy broadway esque english version works and sounds way better then this crap

  • I like this, but the english one takes the cake

  • At the star it sonds like singy weegee

  • 素晴らしい!

  • I prefer this version over the english version anytime. the english version sounds so cheesy.

  • @crazykay111 thats the point

  • ASH-U-LEE!

  • I prefer English version ^^'

  • cute!!!

  • Lol she sounds like a baby

  • she sounds waaaayyy too young

  • The English version sounds much better, a little bit too old but she actually has personality/sass while the japanese version sounds like a little baby (too young!!)

  • singer sounds kawaii :l I would imagine if that was Ashley's voice there

  • @GalaxiaShadow

Kawaii, the word that embodies everything of evil.

  • @GSboyNEO very true XD

  • i like english shes evil not nice

  • @javace94

So what you mean is english is better?

    Fuck yourself.

  • The singer of the English version sucks at high notes...of any kind. She's really just a super shitty singer and this version is much better. I honestly don't understand what Nintendo was thinking when they hired the English singer. This version is actually pleasant and not abrasive to my ears at all.

  • 153 people are pedofiles and enjoy the japanese voice.

  • @javace94 And you're an ass~

  • @javace94 Obvious troll is obvious.

P.S. It's "Pedophile", not "Pedofile". Might want to know how to spell correctly before trying to troll.

  • @javace94 WTF??!!

  • sounds hotter in english

  • I like both versions.

  • oh, and btw! :D In the next smash, Ashley is a must!!! >:D we need more warioware reps and she is just that cool!!!

  • My name is Ashley:DDDD

  • the voice is deffinitevely better :D way cuter!!!

except for that, I prefer the american version, and that´s weird for me, most of the time, I preffer the japanese versions of things

  • @zealhe59 me too

  • I Like the Japanese Version, The american don't Like to me Much

  • awwwww her voice is so cute

  • I know a girl at my school named Ashely, funny thing is... She's gothic and is kindof like this... I'm thinking about teasing her by singing this song to her.LOL

  • @rittykatt funny my x roommate is named ashley she likes horror and kind of gothic we used to be friend but she pushed me away i would love to sing this song to her but she would get mad and im not that kind of person

  • i have a friend called ashely, i put it on all the time and it pisses him of :D

  • HHHNNNNNNGGGG

  • Did you guys know that the person singing this is 43? If I had to guess it would me 8 though o-o

  • Awww she sounds so cute!!!! ;3

  • according to my translation logs, she's saying she'll kick your ass if you get in her way.

  • Usually like japanese versions but...think the english one takes it. It has more of that "saturday morning cartoon opening" feeling than this one.

  • This sounds so cute yet spooky, love it!! :D

  • i like the english, sounds more energetic

  • Thiss Version is WAAAAAAAAAAAY better then the english version...

The People who didnt like this were Ashleys victims :3

  • Thiss Version is WAAAAAAAAAAAY better then the english version...

  • cuteness overload

  • she's sounds like she's mumbling in this version....

  • i prefer the english version but im not turning into a spoon!!

  • Lol. So many weaboos here. Eng version is far better.

  • ash-uh-ley

  • kawaii ^_^

  • i like the pwoplw that sing at the biggining but ashley's voice its to high

  • SOOO CUTE

  • lyrics ? :D

  • @martypinky95 animelyrics(.)com/game/wariowaretouched/ashuriinoteem(.)htm

just remove the () around the dots (as YouTube stops links)

  • aaaw so cute i must sub!!

  • @compukid91 animelyrics(.)com/game/wariowaretouched

  • omg her japanese voice is hella cute

  • orbulon made 4 accounts and disliked this because he wants revenge on ashley

(note: you'll only get this if you've played touched)

  • @pokemewnic

Thank you for explaining that joke. I'd not have understood why I didn't get it if you hadn't wrote that there. Perhaps I'll even dig out Touched and play it so I can come back here, read your comment, and find it funny!

  • i like better than english version , because her voice is very very cute!

  • wow!! my friend was right!! she sounds really toddler-like!!

  • She sounds 10 in this version. Either that or really quiet. Wierd. I like the American version better

  • @inergized

well, in the japanese version, ashley is eight years old.

  • @pokemewnic

I keep hearing this, but were was this ever stated?

At least the 15 year old statement was actually on the site.

  • Ashielee

  • @sk8ergirl4eva57 That makes more sense, cuz if shes 15,in 3 years she will need to grow several feet before being bigger than 10.

  • @RubenRunefleuri i did not understand a word you just said

  • @sk8ergirl4eva57 An asthmatic 15 year old.

  • this song makes no sense :O scary unnatural voices, but i love it anyways , GO! JAPAN!

  • @sk8ergirl4eva57 She is 15.

  • This version makes her sound waaay younger than the ssbb english version!

  • @sk8ergirl4eva57 She IS 15.

  • Comment removed

  • prefer the japanese...english makes her sounf cocky...japanese scares the shit outta me! XD

  • her voice does suit her but i like the english ver. cause in the jap. ver it just not as spooky as the english ver.but i still like this

  • My friend showed me the difference between the English and Japanese voices, and I just burst out laughing. She sounds like a teenager in English, but like a little girl (which is proper) here.

  • @Supercharge87 the proper one is the english one because she's really 15

  • I love this song, english or japanese, its SOOOOO catchy!!!

  • I can't find any information on her VA, and I've googled around quite a bit... I'd like to get her name at least.

  • @sinituuke: I just checked on Brawl and apparently, the song was done by Tomoko Sasaki and The Small Circle of Friends, so it's safe to assume that the singer for ashley is Tomoko Sasaki.

  • @RayDiTutto66 Thanks. :)

  • @sinituuke: no problem.

  • her voiceis cute god why does japan get the good stuff?!

  • very cute just i lke the english verson better cus it has more personality

  • @pokemewnic Japanese Ashley isn't a vindictive little brat, though.

  • @pokemewnic Technically, Ashley is SUPPOSED to be 15, soooo, nothin' wrong.

  • @pokemewnic

I think she turned them into spoons :O

  • Her voice is...CREEPY! Why does everyone think it's CUTE!?!?

  • @ArceusShaymin Cos it is? XD

  • Damn, The Japanese get all the good stuff!

  • in american she sounded like a woman...BUT SHES A LITTLE GIRL. DID THEY NOT NOTICE THAT?!

  • Ahh, I love her voice! <3

    It's so cute! :3

  • This sounds like it couldve been Miku Hatsune when she was younger

  • i like her voice

  • my friend hates this version of the song, but her voice is so soft and cute!

  • The Japanese version is better. They made her into a 40 year old in the English version with that raspy voice.

On the other hand, the background singers are better in English. They sound creepier.

  • @LeFatTurkey the hell you talking about? she sounds like EVERY JAPANESE CHILD THAT EXISTS. the english version had some personality at least.

  • @HeroPrinnyDood

Every Japanese child that exists sounds better than every American 40 year old woman who smokes.

  • @LeFatTurkey Yeah, keep using the same joke. It's even funnier the second time

  • @HeroPrinnyDood

    I no rite.

  • @LeFatTurkey As weeaboo as that sounds... It's so true.

  • @LeFatTurkey Assuming every American woman is 40 years old and smokes.

    Good job overgeneralizing, weaboo.

  • @Scrinoverlord

ara, nuuuuuu desu wai yo ^_^

america is-a not sugoi kawaii da ne moe moe kyuuuuun :3

japan is the most sugoi country evaaa, you baka gaijin-san

    - XxXxSugoiNekoSugoixXxX

  • @LeFatTurkey wat

  • @LeFatTurkey weaboo much? :/ unless you japense then ok, but if not then yeah~

  • @Mirya69

(In case it wasn't obvious enough, I was joking.)

  • @Mirya69

Weeaboo? America has the most boring culture, bad economics, (Other places do too, but whatever...)

and everybody's obese. Although, it's pretty annoying when people talk other languages in other places...

But if they don't know the usual language...

  • @alexdz123321 No countries perfect, not even Japan.

  • @uncut7007

    Truth. Natural disasters, sexual trouble...

  • @alexdz123321

    Rule 44.

  • @LeFatTurkey ^_______________________________^

  • @HeroPrinnyDood

Every japanese kid that exists can sing. At least they can deliver some lines.

  • @LordPlagus777 TRUE DAT xD I know cuz I'm a japanese as well xD jk but srsly, every japanese I've heard sing (except tone deaf people) sing good. :D

  • @HeroPrinnyDood

Funny how the singer here is 40+. XD

  • @LeFatTurkey this english version of the Ashley song is better

  • jap better than dub

  • Cute X3

  • cute voice! ^3^

  • lol....theres a flipnote of this on Hatena.

  • Oh yea.. and the american version sucks dick

  • I love the irony of the cute Japanese voice on the witch girl.

  • i like the DS version the most because its angry and witch-ish but this voice is cute X3

  • ohh so when it sounds like thier saying

    osheenee

    their actually saying ashely!!

    i am so deaf T.T

  • @lilpudding456 It's spelled Ashley and Ashurii is Ashley in Japanese if you didn't now.

  • how on earth does she reach such high notes????

  • japanese

  • I like this version... the girl voice almost sounds like miku, lol

  • The english ds version is the best. The Brawl sounds like one of these old openings for shows like caspar, bewitched, or jeannie (not that they're bad, but they do convey a feeling of too old). The japanese verrsion is surely cute, but I prefer her to be... mean... :)

  • Aldecoraziel:

I agree. The english original is how she actually should sound.

The english brawl is so weird. Ashley isn't like... 20 years old? xP

  • The voices fit the song. This song is a lot cuter than the English one.. The English is more.. Well, evil. ;)

  • The japanese was the original and also the inventors of the character , i really think this version is better. but maybe thats just me.

  • superdk55:

better than the jap original or what? :)

  • I personally think her japanese voice fits her best Think about it It's FAR creepier to have a character who would use you simply as a ingredient for a potion, with a innocent and cute voice ... Xample: I'm gonna kill you!! \^_^/ v.s. I'm gonna kill you! -_- - original english version darker version or I'm gonna kill you!! ;D - SSBB more preppy version

It's very creepy to have something cute and haunting xD Plus, I think she can sing better then ...

  • either of the english versions Clearer sound, conveys darker meaning to me Like straight forward, no huge play on the words, cuz they should be freaky enough But all that's just my opinion =P

  • not straightforward implies power beyond human comperehension.

it also implies that you are already doomed as you might already be in a scheme and the fact that you've realized it is probably because it won't matter anymore if you try to struggle.

  • Oooh, good point I didn't think of it that way Perhaps it's even creepier to have her all peppy and happy, when she's truly evil and diabolical - Although, since most others don't understand Japanese, that factor might still play in of non-straight forward, cuz those who don't speak the language, don't even no what she's saying The translation maybe wrong as well, so that'd still be pretty creepy hearing a clear, childish voice sing a song that sounds dark But, hey That's all just my opinion

  • true, happiness means utter, absolute Doom, it would mean such an Mindboggling and Staggering humongous amount of doom that you'd have to learn the meaning of the why of the reason of how you're trice screwed over to start comprehending why you're luck might have run out(forgive me, i started reading THHGTTG again)

  • The English voice is way creepier. This is the most innocent sounding voice I have ever heard. It's too calming to be scary....

  • The cuter they look/sound.. the more cruel they are

take that little girl in F.e.a.r.

  • i find english better but japanse are o.k.

  • I love the japanese! Better than the english!
