I hope someone like timeless release this some time soon.Considering the popularity of its star it is rather surprising it has never been released before! Catchy little theme tune too.God bless you for giving me the opportunity to see it for the first time.
That's exactly what I was going to say. Imagine seeing David Doyle eleven years before Charlie's Angels. In this episode, Columbo meets Bosley. And it's still 1965.
Peter Falk in the best show of its era, w. David Burns as McGonigle, Elaine Stritch as Miss G, JoAnna Barnes as Katie, Ilka Chase as Margaret & Dolph Sweet as Lt. Garrison. When it was cancelled, CBS was flooded w. protest letters. I sent one & later got a personal thank-you letter from Peter Falk . I;ve never understood why a complete DVD set of all 22 episodes has never been made available. Great writing, great guest stars, great theme song & a pre-Columbo Peter Falk should send it to DVD.
@SJV123sjv123: The show's obscure, and hasn't been seen in years-that's why it's not on DVD except for being offered by some mail-order company. If you want to see it, pester MGM to show it on their THIS TV network or on DVD.
