@simpsons79 If they don't know her story you should start telling it. Find out all about her with book's tape's and the web. The more you know of her humble beginning's, the more you'll love her. Jlo would not be what she is without Selena. Thing is, I don't know what Jlo is. That's 1 of the things that bothers me a lot. Selena had more talent in her little finger than Jlo has. And yes, she would of surpassed even Madonna once the world saw how wonderful she really was. A tragic loss indeed.

One of the many angels who passed way before her time. They say "God has plans for us," and I truly stand by that. Maybe it was time for her to go to a heavenly place. Earth is far to destructive. We gained an angel prior to her death, and have lost one, but she lives through our memories, her photos and videos. Physically, Selena is at peace. Spiritually, I can feel her. I'm one of her many fans, and there's not a day that goes by that I never listen to her music. She's to incredible. Siempre!

Everyone keeps saying Selena is such a great role model for girls. I don't see it. All I see is teenagers having kids and sponging off welfare. I'm Mexican, and I'm ashamed of my race. Selena was pretty on the inside and out. She was such a humble person, she never turned her back on her fans no matter how big she got. She wasn't that fakey nice she was real, there are not a lot of nice people like her her left in the world. She was a great role model for young girls. All she did was trust Yolanda and she had to pay the price for it

in regards to benjaminarts comment I am a Christian and i don;t see how we do wrong in remebering someone who we loved very much in the music industry...i understand if we had Selena Statutes in our homes and worshiped them and praised her and glorified her name, but were simply REMEBERING her wonderful life, and music.
