Hola, una pregunta, ustedes a los colores en general les llaman "charhapiti" refiriendose a algo que esta colorado, o que nombren tienen los colores en general, les mando saludos
Just found out I'm purepecha, soy nacido en California, estados unidos y al saver que soy purepecha quiero saver mas, me gustan Los tatuajes y me pienso tartuar cosas de Indios, arriva Chavinda, michoacan!!!
Thanks for taking the time to make this video, but it would be better if you didn't put sound effects to your voice because it you'r not able to make a clear and correct pronunciation.
How many people speak P'urhepecha (Some people call it Tarasco)? I'm interested in Yucatec Maya, but this video is great for learning your language. By the way, Tat in Maya means father, Na' is mother. It's interesting how two very different languages share similar words.

@NinjamasterMiguel 1/2... 3/4 ths of my family comes from Michoacan, I was born and live in the US, but I am looking to know my roots, I am a mestizo man, my mothers side is mainly of Native Mexican blood they look like the people in Apocalypto so pretty much Native Americans/Native Mexican look (brown skin slanted eyes)...hehe...and my fathers side is mostly of European looking Spainaird people white skin colored eyes...so like I said I pride myself in my indigenous roots, the people who were
@NinjamasterMiguel 2/2...here first on this continent, I ask my family who we are, but all i get is you are a Mexican! There is much more to it than that in my opinion, and in my research of where my family comes from i was thinking I was Aztec just like every other brown Mexican, but I come to find out that in Michoacan the people were not Aztecs but the P'urhepecha! Different language, religion, culture, and they were never conquered by the Aztecs! This is worth finding out! I wanna know too.
So to greet someone is Nari Jaraski Tata for greetin' a man, Nari Jaraski Nana for greetin' a woman,.....MIGHTY FINE.....hmm....20 years ago in Patzcuaro, an old lady said the greeting is Nah Chusko Tata/Nana, but i may have understood erroneously, subbin' you and will definitely check out the other lessons and the website! = )
