  • can you guys please tell me what the guy used on ninja assasin the one that is a chain with blades on the end

  • @koolkat214

i believe this is what you're refering to

    Kyoketshu-shogei

  • @koolkat214 though the use of a dagger on the end of a chain is, by and large a fanciful embellishme,t reason being that chains rarely move with enough control to allow the blade to cut effectively. chains can rotate while moving, so thats why a weigh, maybe a pointy weight but usually just a bnon pointy weight is used , the same reason is generally why you dont try and trow the sickle at people and controll it with the chain, good idea in your head but again, HUGELY difficult to control.

  • The farmers had to use whatever they could to defend themselves from the evil samurai. Even today, many farmers will not sit at the table of an unknown samurai, lest they are carrying a gun or taser.

  • musashi defeated baiken kusarigama using two swords(nito ryu) .he chargeh before baiken could swing the chain and weight to create distance

  • @nakariri that its not valid it was miyamoto musashi

    he never lost

  • @19itachi89 - Well, that was what he said. That Musashi defeated Baiken.

  • @nakariri

AFAIK Musashi fled into the bamboo rendering the chain useless and won by throwing his short sword.

  • @KaelNL Actually the historical person that story was based on was Araki Mataemon and the sad truth is that Shishido Baiken was most likely a character invented by Eiji Yoshikawa in in his Musashi stories (much like Otsu who was also a fictional person). There is no reference to to Baiken prior to the Yoshikawa stories which bore only a passing resemblance to the real Musashi. Araki Mataemon was the founder of the Yagyu Shingan Ryu and defeated Shinryukan by luring him into the bamboo grove.

  • A Very Deadly but effective weapon to disarm a Samurai,Is it also good to take the Rider down with his horse?

  • i wouldnt risk it. itd likely break trying to restriain that galloping horsethat the samurai is riding on

  • i think its not good to hit the horse since htey are so mutch stronger theyl rather drag you through the dirt however hit the rider and you can pull him down

  • Amazing weapons, even if you missed the wrap, the weight at the bottom would hurt like hell
