Moron. Malpractice insurance amounts to roughly 2-5% of a doctor's expenses. While the U.S. society as a whole is way too litigious, tort reform wouldn't do shit for reducing health care costs.
This is coming from educated doctors who actually are in practice... not those who sit in the ivory tower of academia. You clearly have very little understanding (or do not care) about what is at stake. What the government is proposing will rapidly bring down the quality of medical care and severely reduce accessibility.
