Minecraft: World Trade Center - 9/11 Memorial - 10th Anniversary

Suggestion-add in something for the Pentagon and Flight 93. The WTC may have been the biggest of the attacks that day, but they were not the only ones hit.

@The1337gamer360 I am 20 blocks above bedrock because i have to an undeground part for the museum and the subway station, so i am as low as i can go. and yes i know it looks dumb but i have no choice.

Only problem I see is that the 1 WTC its really inaccurate, other than that I think your recreation is better than mine

@crackbabybell well, its actually nothing you can fix, its mine craft's height limit. You buildings look stubby cuz u couldn't make them as tall as they were supposed to be, so yeah, I do rly like this and it is the base it can't get until notch extends map height

oh and also there a lot more room at the bottom of the tower before the edges start caving in, google it and ill see. Again map height is your enemy here. What i did for my recreation is I world edited my area down to bedrock for more height. You can go to my channel can check it out if u want. Its my only video.

@MrSkittleBiscuit thank you for your input. But you are right, it all deals with map height. I know 1 wtc is up on stilts (as they call them) but i took that part out because it made the building look even weirder and did not fit. Also when i started this project i built from bedrock up, but because of the memorial's underground part i had to move it up 20 blocks.

so i have a question for anyone that reads this, for my final video of this memorial when i finish everything, do you guys have any suggestion for good songs as the background music? i want something different than this one, but it needs to be a somber type of song but also have a resilient tone to it.

@crackbabybell sorry to comment so much, you could do it's not to late by 3 days grace although it could be interpreted as inappropriate. if you want some music that doesn't have lyrics the bands (mostly know from a flash game =P) Evil-Dog or Goukisan, they have music that's pretty decent just my opinion though.

But i have temporary stop building because single player commands has not been updated to 1.8 yet so i had to stop, but the day it is released i will begin building again. so i hope you will stick around to at least see that :)

@RHVids100 I am using the water shader mod, it does not currently work in 1.8 but it is awesome otherwise.

I love this memorial, but i think the reflecting pools need to be bigger, they are about the same size as the base of the freedom tower. Keep this up, its really nice

people need to grow up and stop crying about 9/11 it was 10 yrs ago.. no one does this sort of stuff for any of the world wars, or any of the many other disasters that have killed scores of people. frankly its disrespectful of the dead to continue to bring them up in such a way as to use their death as a holiday... which seems to be all 9/11 has become.. a stupid holiday....(related to the work in the video its nicely done..)

The maps, pictures, and forums i was using to recreate this never mention wtc 7 actually being built, just like wtc 5 will probably never be built. but i think it is because it was already completed in 2006. i will start working on that shortly, thank you
