But i Believe He loves that his brother can play the piano so well but HATES that Raymond is successfull in whatever he does. haha "I HATE HIM BUT HE's SO DAM GOOD!!!!" -Robert's Conscious.
they should have done more episodes with ray playing the piano. if something wasnt right with ray, he could have gone across the street and played it.
For some reason...I dont like Marie anymore, I mean, like the way she acts and stuff, like she doesnt like Debra, and is usually acting like the better one...I dont know, my opinion. I mean, I guess if she didnt act like that, then Raymond would be like it was...
Yes, he's really playing. His mother is a pianist, who graduated from Julliard. She taught them when he was young and this is one of the few songs he still knows how to play well.
@allogicid LOOL @ ''liebling''. It does sound like it. I hear it too, but no, he says ''what do you think'', and you can tell from Ally's answer too. But funny...
He really nows how to play piano, but this is a comedy he could not play so good as most of us would wanted, he even said in an interview that he had to repeat this piano part 53 times as that piece had to be funny and because he is used to play very well that he could not do worst than that, lol, it was really funny
well I think he's really playing the piano, I play piano and I'm following his finger with the notes, it might be recorded over for the segment but he's playing it.
It was written in the 70s to be the theme from Love Story. It's by Francis Lai. I love Andy Williams version the best. Ray plays it amazingly well though, better than most of the covered versions.
Oh no! That's so horrible! Good God we're all going to die! Let's not offend one of the crappy 70's tearjerkers that were rated negatively in the review offices!
Yeah, you'd think a direct descendant of Rachmaninov's student, who's worked on several of the greatest re-interpretations of the world is a dumbass.. Then again, he probably didn't give a damn about this petty scene, nor the even less important people who comment on it.
Rachmaninov is an international legend that will live on eternally through musical genious, love theme is a simple tune from a crappy movie in which it's overused. The fact that you know popular movies and not the greatest classical musician of post romanticism, just proves you know nothing.
Its a matter of taste as to whether you prefer this type of music or classical music. Just because someone is more interested in popular movies instead of classical musicians does not prove they know nothing. However your statement clearly proves you still have some maturing to do. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume youre a child.
Are you going to call anyone who values Rachmaninov's symphonies infinitely more valuable than the Love Story Theme song a child? Let it be known that no other musical work, especially not one asserting the Piano as a classical instrument manages the level of excellence and variety than Rach's Second and Third Symphony, my teacher in the Royal Danish Conservatorium for Classical Music thinks so, does that make him a child?
soulman, that is not what i said at all. Just because your teacher in the 'Royal Danish Conservatorium for Classical Music' thinks so, that does not mean he is correct. Thats just his own taste in music and his own opinion. If your teacher cannot understand this point, that good music is down to the individuals taste and preference, then yes that does make him a child.
Robert's face has so many emotions. haha
But i Believe He loves that his brother can play the piano so well but HATES that Raymond is successfull in whatever he does. haha "I HATE HIM BUT HE's SO DAM GOOD!!!!" -Robert's Conscious.

do you know any versions of this theme played on the piano that is played at the same tempo that ray plays it here?
cus all the ones ive seen play it really slow, whereas i prefer it the same speed ray plays it here
PhantomChard101 3 years ago
just improvise and play it fast yourself, even if it SAYS to play it slowly.
tigggy123 3 years ago
i dont play the piano, hence why i asked if there were any known versions out there played fast like ray does
