the gain was ok, but yeah the intro got annoying, needed less volume and less gain probably for that though. it just got a bit meh til the riff started.

Try tuning your g and b string more careful and work on your chuka's. Also turn down the gain/dist

during the verse on the B the 3 10 8 6, tom uses the whammy bar when playin those, check out the music vid

actually he finger picks 5 on the A while finger picking 7 on G, then 5 on E, then 8 on B and then 6 on B, which is different to how i play it. there is no music video but there is an aol sessions performance.

he actually uses the switch on his guitar that switches between pickups. he sets one pickup to zero so it's like a killswitch. don't argue with me on this one, tom morello friggin invented that technique, so why wouldn't he be using it on this song just like every other rage song.
