  • the number of views is approaching the speed of light

  • Science flys you into buildings, religion gives the gift from the heavens above. Stars and the Northern Lights.

Anyone who says that region will die, you really need to sort yourselves out as that is how we have terrorists who use science to scare others.

  • This galaxy kicks ass. The Universe is cool.

  • intier... entire... that's no fucking typo rofl. See this is what I mean, full of shit. Reading what you type is the only type of hell.

  • @12345hallam God isn't a man. And science proves it's ownself wrong all the time. While you are asking someone to prove God exist, science can't prove that He doesn't. You can' argue about it all day. What's the point?

  • @classysasafrassy science can't prove he doesn't exist because he ISN'T THERE. You people need to remove your head from your ass because all that comes from your mouths is shit.

  • @12345hallam REALLY?

  • NAUTYKNIGHT IS RIGHT!!!!! There was a God and Jesus you guys just chose not to belive in them. every path you take has an end to it and when you get to them you non belivers will burn forever i will fill sorry for you but its not my fault. ITS YOURS

  • @logan1243100 Show me proof that either of them existed. They're exaggerated STORIES. Religion will die in the future because it is a primitive theory of life.

  • @12345hallam then how do you think the earth was made. your prolly thinking of the big bang if you are what made the big bang. This question will go on forever unless you say the correct answer wich is God. Take that astro nerd

  • @logan1243100 You religious people are so far up your own arse and so narrow minded and blind. How can anyone with a right mind believe a man made all this, it's so illogical to anyone with anyone with more than half a brain cell. At least science theory's are feasible.

  • @12345hallam Let me tell you something the universe is very complex the germs in our body are very complex do think we were made by chance

  • @gamemaker1234 Chance? We EVOLVED. From a tiny organism and over millions of years we have become what we are. And if you are just going to reply with your religious bullshit "evolution is fake" just don't reply at all.

  • @12345hallam Did i say Evolution is wrong only a god can make a very complex world our body is more complex than a whole intier country

  • @gamemaker1234 I'm not going to argue with someone who can't even spell entire...

  • @12345hallam That was a typo now hit me with a question i will answer it

  • @12345hallam The universe is estimated to be around 12,000,000,000 years old and humans are estimated to be around 200,000 years old. To put it simply... we ain't shit! On the other hand, I do believe that we were genetically altered by something a few thousand years ago, and that humans witnessed ETs and started calling them Gods. Replace any figure in the Holy Bible with an ET and it all makes sense. 7 billion people are worshiping aliens and they don't even know it.

  • @Gamebanga i lol'd

  • Comment removed

  • @Gamebanga agree

  • @logan1243100 are you christian

  • Comment removed

  • Oh crap .. I have to find dmax631's comment -.-'' xD

  • Our new Pole Star... Errrm so to speak ;)

  • lul

  • i dont wanna go to school anymore, i got youtube! :D

  • you can all sit on youtube and argue about religion and science, when the truth is that NONE of you can possibly understand even the slightest bit of whats goin on out there. no one on this planet has even the slighest idea and thats the biggest folly of man. you choose what to beleive and anything that is different is automatically wrong. when the fact is what you beleive to be true is only .000000000001% of the whole story.

  • I come to a youtube video about the most beautiful thing you can see in the sky, the Andromeda galaxy I was even named after and all I see in the comments are arguments about religion. Just SHUT UP, all of you.

  • IT IS COMING TO US!!!!!

Too bad we all won't be there for the big galactic collision because then the sun will already have deep-fried the earth.

  • @uncinarynin Unless we colonise many other planets

  • I think that we should find at least one exoplanet that has life on it before we get too reassured that millions or billions of planets with life exist...

Our own solar system shows us that life supporting planets may be very rare and Earths own history shows that evolution of intelligent life is extremely difficult.

Too many hypotheses about Type 1, 2 & 3 civilizations but evidence of them is painfully absent. At this point a planet with nothing but slime mold would be a huge breakthrough.

  • I think these scientists are full of shit. When people start talking 2.5 billion years or light years my bullshit flag goes way up. These idiots today are no different than the scientists of the past that told us the Earth was flat. I don't think these fools know what the hell they're talking about. Everything is just theory without facts. I put my faith in Christ. At least he was real and gave a positive message and it's funny how the events in the Bible are all coming true.

  • @NautyKnight so you put your shitty fait in Christ? He IS a fucking theory, nothing facts. You are a complete christian dumbass idiot.Go fuck your "Christ" up in the ass.

  • @NautyKnight and no event in the fucking liar "bible" came true :D its like saying events in Harry Potter came true.Bible is a fucking story book.nothing more.Stop using it as a historical reference, and i will stop laughing at you, idiot.

  • @NautyKnight Dude. Really? There is SO much wrong with everything you just said.

  • @LuckilyHeDied - Like I said, roughly 600 years ago scientists still thought the Earth was flat and people bought that shit too.

  • @NautyKnight "Science doesn't know everything; religion doesn't know anything."

  • @NautyKnight Actually scientist did not believe that 600 years ago it was mostly religious losers, science is what proved it to be round. If you want to criticize science thats fine but you then have to stop using the internet, stop going going to the doctor, and stop driving a car as all of those things are a result of the work of scientists.

  • @NautyKnight Christ is just as real as santa claus.

  • @bedvd01 - Christ really existed here on Earth and was prophesied BEFORE he existed. That's a fact. Telling me that our galaxy is going to collide with another galaxy in 4 billion years or that we all evolved from the big bang "theory" is just some ingenious way for atheists to live in denial by rejecting our creator.

  • @NautyKnight What do you base those "facts" about Jesus on? Your pathetic Bible (a worthless piece of trash "fairy tale" book? Get real. Or maybe God put the stars and galaxies out there to "test your faith"?? Earth and Humans are in the center of creation, YEAH RIGHT.

  • a bloke's gotta believe in something... Otherwise one can go nuts!!!

  • @NautyKnight Fact? Got some proof?

  • @NautyKnight Your an idiot mate.

  • ya it's funny how some humans think that all galaxies with trillions of planets are just window dressing for earth.

  • Over a trillion stars, if even if there's only 5 planets per star plus moons of those planets. That's 5-10 trillion moons and planets.....there's literally millions, if not billions of planets with life on it at any given time, in this ONE galaxy.

  • The over due phone bill seems pointless given the grand scale of things. lol

  • @Argibon hahahaha tell me about it

  • Wonder if any other intelligent life is looking at the milky way from Andromeda galaxy... :)

  • Just a thought: that photo is what M31 looked like 2.5 million years ago.

  • Perseus in Greek mythology, the slayer of the Gorgon Medusa and the rescuer of Andromeda from a sea monster. Perseus was the son of Zeus and Danaë, the daughter of Acrisius of Argos. As an infant he was cast into the sea in a chest with his mother by Acrisius, to whom it had been prophesied that he would be killed by his grandson. After Perseus had grown up on the island of Seriphus, where the chest had grounded,..If anyone read all the story he can understand why Andromeda is birth place of Greeks

  • My favorite galaxy (next to the Milky Way of course). I'm planning a vacation to the Andromeda Galaxy in June.

  • What technology do you think we will have available in a hundred years? With the leaps we have made in the last forty years, it would be exciting to see what we have in the next two hundred years, although none of us will be around to see it. Maybe our great great great great great great great great grandchildren will have commercial space travel and be able to see these far away places.

  • @blueandsilverfan i would love to see it...but have you thought of the possibility that earth wont exist till then,,,,with the way things are going, anyways i hope that i will stil be alive to see more of space..

  • i verk vor nasa

  • This beautiful picture is on the second floor of building 34 if i'm not mistaken!

  • @tuberaider2000

No, Andromeda is too far away for us to send a space craft there. For light to get to Andromeda, it takes a really long time, longer than Earth has been alive. No human or machine on Earth has made a space craft to travel faster than light, so it would take even longer to get to Andromeda. In conclusion, it is practically impossible to have a space craft made by human beings that is able to get to Andromeda. The end :D

  • @nooblessnoodles We haven't even got anywhere NEAR the speed of light :P, but you never know how technology will help, worm holes etc, etc... You never know what the future holds.

  • Just remember, when we look at M31 today, we see it as it was 2.5 million years ago, not as it is now. Thinking about space often has me reaching for the asprin!

  • @Tapiola2007 2,5 million years isn't that much... only 2,5 % of a billion...

  • I love learning about Space, I just wished I were ten trillion times smarter than I was so I could go learn about this in college and NOT animal science! :( urgh, should've paid more attention in school, eh? :(

  • Nothing will happen to earth or any other planets or stars when the two galaxies collide, they will just make a bigger version of us really. Because of the distance between all of the stars and stuff, virtually nothing will collide or be destroyed. /watch?v=8LwWdfxUuuY&feature=relmfu ... skin to about 3:46 on that video.

  • Seeing how big the universe is - it makes you wonder why people still believe in superstitions and that 'god' made it all for us to live in. When was the last time you built your 2 pet ants a play-pen the size of Europe? Exactly...either god didn't make it for us to play in at all, or god made it for a lot more civilizations than just our own.

  • @blueray1969 For real. Space looks incredible and thats pretty selfish thinking were the only ones

  • so this is saying since our solar system is on the edge or arm of the Milky Way, we are one of the younger solar systems?

  • what always the light thing in the middle?

  • @pksaysftw my guess is the biggest and oldest stars, or maybe just the black hole...

  • @pksaysftw

Starrs, a lot of stars togheter. How more to the centre how more everything is packed

  • @LostMyReality Thanks for the answers, i always tought that there was the biggest star:P

  • @pksaysftw

    /watch?v=WoB0PFCptyw

watch this, it's absolutely stunning and interesting.

  • fu-q that was gay. You're a rogue planet tool boy@@

  • there IS life here, I spoke with an area 51 co- and they have been doing many studies there. we rnt alone

  • @GagaDanceCrew Sure... .

  • We have an appointment with the Andromeda galaxy.

  • @theGroveMan I'm afraid I will miss that date...

  • andromedans come take meeeee

  • are these real photos

  • @funnygurrl123 Yuh DURRRRRRRRRRRR DERPDY DERP DERP!

  • @MrAwesomesauce101 your normal.

  • nerds

  • @TheMcMode cant handle the awesomeness!

  • @TheMcMode Nerds rule the world Look at Bill gates and what used to be steve jobs.

  • So beautiful, nothing intrest me more then the thought of traveling to out galaxies!thank you NASA.

  • Alex Andromeda is 2.5 million light years away.

Unless the greys, the ancients or some other alien race shares their space travel tech with us, we ain't setting foot outside the MW.

  • @L0B03 I wouldn't be so sure...our own tech is expanding exponentially, 100 years ago if you told the average joe that we would fly to the moon he would of moved to the other side of the street fearing for his safety. Now look at us.

  • Fancy you will live that long in the sort of future you describe(holywood depicts) were if anything people would live less as they are sleep deprived, slave driven wretches, organ farms for the galactical wealthy.

  • @dmax631 yeah and when we meet them we'll be at war with them Why preoccupy yourself with it if you believe in that you will be long dead by then, we are talking about a minimum of say 200-300 years in the future going up to a possible 0.5-1 milllion years in the future....or even more andromeda is perhaps 1 million light years away, meaning if you travel constantly at the speed of light(300 000 km per SECOND) it would take you JUST oh 1 million years reach it

  • @dmax631 yeah and when we meet them we'll be at war with them

  • And they say: "Tales of the ancients, which he has written down, and they are dictated to him morning and afternoon." (5)

Say: "It (this Qur'ân) has been sent down by Him (Allâh) (the Real Lord of the heavens and earth) Who knows the secret

of the heavens and the earth. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." (25:6)

  • Those who disbelieved said, “There is no coming of the Hour for us.”

Say, “No, by my Lord, the knower of the unseen, it will certainly come upon you.”(34:3)

And We made the sky a well protected roof. Still they turn away from its signs. (21: 32)

When you look at the mountains, you think that they are standing still. But they are moving like clouds. Such is the artistry of God, who disposes of all things in perfect order. He is indeed fully aware of what you do. (27:88)

  • Say: “Can any of your idols initiate creation, then revert it?” say “It is God who initiates the creation, and then reverts it.

Then, how could you deviate?” (10:34)

On that day We will fold the heaven, like the folding of a book. Just as We initiated the first creation, We will revert it.

This is Our promise. We will certainly fulfill it. (21:104)

When the earth will be shaken up. (56:4)

    When the seas boil. (81:6)

When the seas are suffered to burst forth. (82:3)

  • Alif Lam Mim. (1) (This is) the revelation of the Book in which there is no doubt, from the Lord of the Worlds. (32:1)

Do not these disbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were an integrated mass, which We then split,

and from water We made all living things? Will they not believe even then? (21:30)

With power did We construct Heaven. Verily, We are expanding it. (51:47)

And verily the Hour is coming, no doubt about it, and that God will resurrect those who are dead. (22:7)

  • “Say: ‘If all mankind and the jinn would come together to produce the like of this Quran, they could not produce its like even though they exerted all and their strength in aiding one another.’” (17:88)

“Or do they say that he has invented it? Say (to them), ‘Bring ten invented chapters like it, and call (for help)

on whomever you can besides God, if you are truthful.” (11:13)

Alif Lam Mim. (1) This Book has no doubt in it - a guidance for the God-fearing (1:2)

  • No. The first thing I notice is that everything is bluish and purple!

  • NAZI astrophysics

  • @RobinStawinski

    Shat up Juden.

  • @toniiii9 Nice spelling. I'm not a jew.

  • only if there was a way to see black holes

  • cool beans

  • thats 2 500 000 light years away. As in 23 750 000 000 000 000 000 000 km away ! HOLY BRAINFUCK !

  • This gives me a Braingasm<3 Gorgeous.

  • The narrator has a really nice voice. He should do some audio books.

  • Now tell me we're alone.

  • @MCHS38 Anyone who claims we as a race are alone, is hugely ignorant.

  • wer gonna crash in with andromeda galaxy in the next 2000-3000 years....

  • @itachiitachi1946 No, the Milky Way is going to collide with Andromeda in about 3-5 Billion years. If it was 2000-3000 years it'd be moving MUCH faster than the speed of light. As a matter of fact the light you see when you observe Andromeda from the ground here on earth is from 2.5 million years ago!!

  • @itachiitachi1946 Try more like 4.5 billion years.

  • i always star watch styuff like this at middle of night

  • 9 people think the world is still flat

  • Who can help me build the speed of light spacecraft, e-mail me.wmv

The spacecraft can beyond the light.

I tell you the secrets of electricity and magnetism, you help me build the spacecraft.

    Seek cooperation the global.

  • @zxhthinker What the?

  • 220,000 LY across? Wow.

  • What is that piano song in the background?

  • ha and i thought black ppl were big!

  • somewhere in there, there is a civilization looking back at our galaxy

  • @dmax631 for sure odds of probability

  • @dmax631 i dont think so

  • @dmax631 if they are looking now, they are seeing our galaxy as it was 2.5 million years ago...

  • @dmax631 Yes; but what do they think about what they see...

  • @dmax631 Yes and to them, we may be the Andromeda galaxy if they even had a language remotely similar to English. The Universe is fascinating.

  • @dmax631 I hope its a civilization of hot alien women.

  • @dmax631 yeah and when we meet them we'll be at war with them

  • @dmax631 indeed

  • @dmax631 Or perhaps even MILLIONS of civilizations!

  • @dmax631 yes...what i think about all the time

  • ppl wounder how big space is even if there a ending or u just go in circle if u get to the end some say that space is like a Glass ball u just go in circles! if ur at the end there no ups or down just vacum seel an nothing but open space to fly around

  • That's a fantastic video: thanks a lot!

    Dear greetings from Italy... :)

  • I love space... I do not understand it, and I do not understand many of the scientifical writings about it, unfortunately, I am not a scientist. But I belive in Science. And in my little knowledge of our universe I love M31 more than any other galaxy out there... I named my friesian horse after her...

  • thats the grey aliens are from..

  • Universe...it's a mysteri, just like our brain..

  • Kewl

  • every time the narrator says "because" he is guessing, every time he says a number, any number, he's guessing. They cannot triangulate the galaxy, so as far as the scientists know they could be 40 feet away from the furthest point we've reached in space, what scientists think are massive stars could really just be dust, they can't tell.

But I'm sure this will be lost on a bunch of mouth-breathing science worshipers who still think we went to the moon.

  • @Quindal Well if we didn't go to the moon, its the biggest hoax ever perpetuated. It must be the flouride in the water, right?

  • @andmaketherain I realize you're a flat earther, and you think the entire cosmos exploded from a marble, i know you think that light is constant and time is relative, and that you think energy cannot be created. I realize you think you're the retarded offspring of monkeys, and they the retarded offspring of other animals all the way back to some murky shit in water. So, when I tell you that you're being poisoned mentally and physically by the very people you consider infallible, you scoff.

  • @Quindal Oh, I realize the corporations are killing people, however what you think does not refute that humans have landed on the Moon. And yes, all science is only as good as the latest data. But for the other points you make, if you feel you have better proof and can replicate it, do it. Otherwise, your beliefs are not facts. And you should realize that without science, we would not be able to communicate in this manner.

  • will it blend? that is the question

  • Most high, master day of justic,Creater of earth and hevens and creatures among them but disbelivers says this quran is mortal verses, magic and nothing but stories from olds,Indeed this quran is warning for mankind and light and guidence for belivers but mostly they know not day of justic hard and painfull, every soul shell be asked what they did, sent and left behind,There is sign in creation of havens, earth and creatures among them, there is sign in there own body but wise follow advice,h quran

  • @abbekhan

"Most high, master day of justic,Creater of earth and hevens"

Begone, before the God of Spelling smites thee!

  • @abbekhan Oh you haven't heard? No one believes that nonsense anymore. We have science now.

  • @abbekhan Im not even going to bother trying to reason with you, because if people could, you wouldnt be here.

  • Those who reject our sign see not universe and earth was joint togather long before BOTH WAS LIKE SMOKE(GAS),We seprate them with huge blast then decorate lowest heaven with shining lights, planets all are floting in there orbits to one promissed day,If we will you on earth and those who lives between earth and heaven let you all one meeting place then disbelivers know well this glorious quran is words of there lord mighty the wise, most mercifull, most honorfull prays for him on earth and heavens

  • @abbekhan Dude, keep your religious crap out of rational thinking circles. Please?

  • @abbekhan

What a troll. Stop saying that. I know your religious but your against Science. I believe in a God, but I'm with Science too. Religion + Science = Peace.

  • @89990000 ,I just said as science and h quran says universe exepnding, universe was gas jaint,There are hure large amount of civilizations, creatures as h quran says, did i said wrong brother,

  • comments by Schwarzenegger??

  • Fuck yeah, science.

  • Beautiful

  • Amazing! life forms there, must also be wondering if they are are the only ones...

Would like to meet them someday.....

We know there out there, but where......

  • @EagleTalon1970 True, I agree.

But, how do we know they arn't at the very beggining of evoloution? The "caveman" stage, if you preffer.

And, how could we comunicate with them? it'll be hard to speak english to them if there 2.5 million Lightyears away, and may not know we exist. For all we know, they could be extinct if andromeda is so old.

Also, what if they can't breathe oxygen?

But, science never ceases to amaze me. I think they'll figure it out some how.

  • Thank you Arnols S. for narrating this video

  • and just think, there might be an earth like planet in the andromeda galixy, with astronamers looking out at the milky way observing us, wondering if life is here

  • @melodymx86 they have found over twelve hundred candidate planets 1,200.

  • @ShadowMaker0 in the Andromedy Galaxy, or here in the milky way?

  • @melodymx86 right in our own galaxy. And that is just the ones near us...so that means our galaxy is probably full of them. Our galaxy is full of earths...I can send you a message with the link to NASA's website on the subject if you like?

  • This is sick..With those photos it looks like that galaxy is near to us but no it's not..And so many''stars''we see is actually a Galaxy..Space is so Epic =) and we are tiny..

  • @Makaronimano I think of the scale of things when i'm sitting in my living room late at night. If the entire room is the universe, then our galaxy is a speck of dust floating there in space. Andromeda is another speck of dust a millimetre away from it. Then there are millions of other specks of dust floating around the room. And every speck of dust contains billions of stars! We can't even hope to leave our own star. What's the point in everything else being out there? Now i'm depressed!

  • @jegspillerpiano No reason to be depressed about it. Just remember that you have the knowledge, that most people lack, to be able to put yourself in perspective with Mother Nature, and our ever expanding Universe. It's a gift. Embrace it!

  • @jegspillerpiano thats quitter talk. who is to say what will be possible in a hundred two hundred, or a thousand years. at one point in time sailing all the way around the world was considered impossible.

  • @Makaronimano you cant see galaxies with your naked eye.... acutally galaxies were mistaken for nebulae....

  • Watch a planet size comparison. I found that quite scary

  • @Makaronimano You can see that galaxy with a regular pair of binocluars.

  • @Mileneum69 you can see with the naked eye! its the farthest object you can see!

  • The detailed images are interesting. But I wouldn't give you 2 cents for the description of Andromeda. Look at the most detailed pictures available when the present theories were proposed. The conventional ideas don't work anymore.

Put a lot of spin on a wet tennis ball. There's your galaxy formation. A child can understand it.

  • @950horsepower Good analogy with the tennis ball.
