  • My friend, Greg, got hurt last week fighting with a suspect who wasn't wanted for anything more than having an open container where he shouldn't have been.

Greg was only going to talk to him and give him a chance to leave the area, but the guy pushed him and ran.

After subduing the guy, Greg had to be taken to ER by ambulance. While they were loading him, he looked at the guy and said "You better be wanted for murder.'

I laughed. Thank God Greg didn't care.

    He's really easy-going.

  • I wish they had shot that 2nd car stripper. It should not have gotten to the point where Officer Nichols had gotten shot.

A rediclous LONG wrestling match with a guy drugged up making him lightning mast and super he-man needs to be shot in the head.

It would have been great if he had gotten the death penalty, and Officer Nichols got the honor to flick the electric chair switch.

The very first time I saw this on CBS, I was actualy scared for the cops because the guy was so aggresive.

  • the reason why they didnt shoot him is so that he suffers in jail

  • you dont shoot someone just because they run from you.

  • ok, why is it called , car stripper?

  • Because the car thieves are stripping the car of its parts.

  • How anybody can find the damn nerve to sue someone, after HE shot a person, is beyond my wildest imagination.

How they can win the case is a statement of how pathetic certain areas of the legal system have become. Positively pathetic.

  • thanks for calling me a dummy...I figure when the police are doing their job, I'd rather stay out of the way, especially when there are guns involved...I'd help if needed, but with too many bystanders and people getting in the way, I'd say it makes it more difficult for the police. And I were an officer I wouldn't be able to do as good a job if I had to worry about family members in the area that could possibly get hurt as well. I suppose I was concerned...not trying to be dumb...but thanks.

  • I think it's wierd that the wife was there, and that she would come running out with her son to see what was going on.

  • They wrestled with the guy near a creek in the woods, she just came down the street near the area. Not into the woods. That is also why the cops didn't shoot, it was very dark in real life.

  • how is it weird that the wife is there, thats just like an incident happening on your road and you go out to see whats goin on, and it were one of your family members, if you see something you go maybe in the end you could help out in a situation if someone needs to be indentified, heyyyyyyyyy DUMMY

  • A Half Nelson and he would have passed out. All you have to do is cut off the blood flow in the neck. Even that bastard would have passed out.

  • Aggravated assault? How about attempted first degree murder...

  • I don't get why they didn't charge that sob with attempted first degree murder.

  • If they had the legal right to kill him, why didn't they do it?

It's really hard to feel sorrow for someone who has just shot a person for no reason.

That probably makes me appear callous, but it's how I feel.

  • they held back there shots cuz they rather have the scum rot and suffer in jail

  • well they try not to kill anynoe but if they realy realy realy need to then they would

  • It was dark out. They might have accidentally shot one of their own with all the struggling he was doing.

  • What exactly is PCP or whatever made him so strong??

I have never taken any street drugs in my life, but I am curious.

Do certain drugs realy give one he-man strength like that???

Is it something to do with adrenalin.

With lot's of adrenalin, we can do incredible things.

Remember the segment on here with David Bell lifting up that truck so the little girl could be pulled out from under it??

That was a super strong guy....

I don't think he was on PCP to lift that truck.

  • PCP was created as an anesthetic, but was discontinued b/c of its adverse side effects.

The drug activates N-methyl D-aspartate (NMDA), a major receptor in the brain that causes excitable responses and unnatural, increased strength.

Since there are so many analogs, (knockoff versions) of PCP, users rarely survive an overdose.

The guy who lifted the truck was overcome with a rush of adrenaline, created by the condition known as 'fight or flight.'

    I hope that helps.

    Vicki B., Paramedic

  • pcp is a drug like pot

  • The shooting of officer Nichols should have immediately prompted the other cops to blow the guy away!

That big duke-out could have been prevented easily by just shotting the villian.

If I was a cop which I'm not, I would have shot the guy even before the wrestling match with him began began.

No way a cop should need to wrestle a perp like that for so long, and there is no need to have to struggle so long in trying to cuff him and fight him to do so.

    Bang! Case closed.

  • I'm not a cop but if I were I would have blown him away and not once but lots of shots! Then beat him into a bloody pulp with my sledge hammer! That bastard nearly killed that officer!

  • Shoot him!!!

  • That is what street drugs do to a person.

  • ok...ummm every fescue 911 episode i see, you always have a comment on it

  • the thief was dumb

  • so many officers..cannot even pin down one suspect..lousy officers..!!!

  • I don't understand why the officers don't smack the theif with their batons.Since he shot at them i would have killed him right there.

  • I agree!

  • Once they had the gun they shoulda yelled "Get Clear!" and executed him on the spot. Scum like that has no value except as fertilizer for weeds.

  • Aggravated assault!?! Please, he should have been charged with attempted murder on a police officer and locked up for life without so much as a second glance.

  • This IS Philadelphia (and Pennsylvania) we're talking about here, don't forget...

  • I'm sort of dissapointed that we did not see the whole entire brawl with the cop and the 2nd guy.

I wanted to see them finaly cuff the guy!!

In anyone's opinion, do you think they finaly cuffed him??

OR do you think they shot him, and they just didn't show it??

I wanted to see the end result of that big fight!

It was a needless fight, but very hilarious in a strange way.

  • well they DID say the guy was convicted of aggravated assault

  • I guess THAT would be the end result then!

  • The only reason im here watchin this video right now is because i work with this dude/suspect (no names). He told me that they made an episode about him. He was not shot and the only reason he didnt get charged with attempted murder on a police officer was because the cops beat him up so badly that he sued them, and won. They dropped the charge to aggrivated assault. He served 9 years.. And he was on PCP at the time. The end.

  • If what u say is true, that's another place where the system is whacked up, no criminal should ever have to the right sue over anything that happens when he's committing a crime. Period. If he had not been stealing the car he would not have gotten the beat down he deserved. He put himself into that situation. He deserved whatever he got. The other guy surrendered right away and didn't get a beatdown.

  • I wonder who re-enacted that super strong car-stripper??

Surely he was not on PCP for the re-enactment but was in wicked good shape!

In the real situation, he must have been on something.

  • It sounds stupid, but would anybody take PCP to get super strength in order to re-create a situation...??

    No way.

Maybe the guy was wicked buff.

  • i would of shot the guy with no doubt

  • y cant i wach it

  • I hope you grow up because you're a prick.

  • Whats his weight got to do with anything - but i agree.

  • a nightstick or flashlight to the nuts woulda ended that shit quick, but if they had the moral right to kill him why the fu/ck didnt they kill his ass????

  • Why in fuck did the cops hit him with the club or the flashlight???????It would have ended this real quick!

  • i wonder how they film these stuff...is this like the real ppl or they actually use ppl to act the situation out

  • The rescuers in the re-enactments are almost always the real people. Sometimes the victims and their families are played by actors, and sometimes they are the actual people.

  • Ok, I missed the fact that she was his wife. But although I understand her need to go and check, I still think it would've been safer to leave her son in the house.

And, I agree with everyone who said they should've shot the suspect.

  • The son was 14 at the time and probably wouln't have stayed "locked" anywhere. He would want to find out what happed also. And it was much darker in real life and too many innocent people involved at that point to shoot; in the dark.

  • If I was that son and I heard a big commotion involving cops and suspects, I certainly would want to check it out.

Yes it's dangerous, but curiosity makes us want to see what's going on.

  • I don't really understand why that woman is down there. Even if she knows and is close to the officer, there is a dangerous, unsubdued suspect who has just shot someone and has a gun at the time she's out there... and she wants to hang out there with her son and watch? I'd be taking my kid and locking him in the house to make damn sure he couldn't get hurt. Maybe I'm missing something.

  • Why not just whack the suspect in the head wikh your elbow?

  • I thought for sure that Bill was going to die. He must sure be on strong guy. The shooter should have been killed

  • i remember an epiosde of "top cops" where a cop in a 70s corvette is chasing a 79 T/A after 2 guys shoot a store owner, and he ends up at the wrong end of a .357 and sticks his finger in the trigger guard just like that cop did in this video

  • i wouldve shot that mother fucker in the fucking head

  • boring episode

  • Our Low band radios suck!

  • tired to shoot him again? Good job for the cop to put his finger in the tigger lock.

  • Do night sticks hurt??

  • Yes. Ever See The Wrestler Big Bossman?

  • I'm not a wrestling fan, so I don't know who the Big Bossman is.

  • Aggravated assault!!! Are you kidding me? What about attempted murder?

  • If PCP was not dangerous, I wonder what it would be like to try it??

By watching this guy, it looks like a wonder drug!

  • If you saw someone outside with the hood of a car up working on it, how would you react?

    Would you call the cops?

How are we to know if the car they were working on was theirs or someone elses?

  • Exactly, I would think they were working on it. That is the problem. If you are casual enough in your manner you can get away with just about anything. xoxo

  • It sounded like the clerk said, "And the guy says it's not cool" in the 911 call. I took that to mean clerk knew the suspects were doing something illegal because the car's owner was in the store and told him to call the cops.

  • It looked to me as if they were fixing a car when the segment starts??

What was so bad about doing what it appeared they were doing??

Were they pretending to fix the car, or trying to take it apart???

If they wanted to steal the car, why didn't they just get in it and drive it away!

  • I think the owner of the car was in the store with the clerk. I'm guessing that's how he knew.

Also, I think they were trying to steal parts of the car, not the whole car.

  • It's PCP (or one of the other street drugs) that will give a person what appears to be super-human strength. A 100 lb tiny lady can suddenly not be a lady, but take 6 strong men to hold down. Something about the effects of the drug. To be stealing property, car in this case, a person is obviously whacked up in the head

  • Too bad there isn't something we can take that gives us strength like PCP if we need it without being an addictive drug with bad effects. I could use some super human strength every once in a while for various things.. and it would come in handy if you had to lift a car off someone or something. I wonder how PCP manages to make people so stong when they are on it?

  • I agree about super strength. If there was something very healthy and non-addicting to give a person super strength and speed I would try it!!

The guy in the segment was unbelievably strong.

First time I ever saw this segment, I was shocked to see how strong the guy was!

  • Whatever happened to taking out your baton and beating the living crap out of someone?

  • Sometime during the brawl, one of the cop's go "HIT HIM!HIT HIM!" I think referring to the night stick.

  • MORE EPISODES OF RESCUE 911 NOW

  • Can't a person still shoot with a finger behind the trigger guard if their finger is strong enough???

    This guy was invincible!!

  • At 4:15, while are there pressing the Billy Club on his head??

Also, how would hitting him with a Billy Club weaken him or hurt him since he is already immune to pain from whatever he was on??

  • They had the moral and legal right to kill him, so why didn't they?

If I was Officer Kenzal, I would have shot him because he was so overpowering!

  • Really, it looked like they were trying all they could to prevent the suspect from firing anymore shots with the gun while at the same time trying to hold the guy down. I highly doubt they could have gone so far as to reach down to their holsters while in a big pile of bodies like that to reach for their gun to shoot the suspect with...

  • I also wondered about stun guns or tazers....

Stun him to immobilize him, then cuff the guy!!

  • Does a billy club like that suspect was getting wacked with hurt???

I mean wouldn't a billy club not even hurt him since he was super high on whatever?!

  • What is Aggravated Assault??

I'm sure I have heard it used for suspects on segments, but I don't know what it means..

  • Aggravated Assault means you knowingly, willingly, and in a thought of method, attacked a person a second time. Punching somebody a 2nd time, shooting a gun a 2nd time, could be constituted as aggravated assault. Say you were in a fistfight. You punch them once, it's "simple assault" because you did hit them, but the courts don't hold much value on that hit. But, you punch them again, you had at least 1/2 a second to think about hitting them and you did it again.

  • That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard... Aggravated assault means you used a weapon when you assaulted someone... Punching someone would be simple assault... Punching someone with brass knuckles would be aggravated assault... Shooting someone with a gun would thusly be aggravated assault too... It has nothing to do with "doing it a 2nd time"!

  • In this case, there's several instances. Now only did he think about resisting arrest from 1 cop by fighting, he did it with 2 other cops. Also, he shot the cop and was pulling the trigger over and over again, it was just the cop blocking the trigger to keep him from shooting. If not, he would've shot again and again.

  • Thank you for clarification!

  • Watching this episode brings back old memories of what our old E.R. looks like before the new construction and how old fashioned it ran.

  • Even though the responded ambulance was from Taylor Hospital, which is owned by the Crozer Keystone Health care System, they rushed him to the Crozer Chester Medical Center. Where the ambulance pulled up is our old E.R, which is partially demolished and in its place is a NEW E.R. and a parking garage with a Life Flight Helipad.

  • I had the honor of working w/ Ofc. Kienzle before his retirement, a hell of a guy. The suspect was actually released from prison last year but tested hot for pcp again and had his parole violated.

  • Harry, has anyone kept in touch with officer Nichols? A lot of younger faces! Nice glasses Mike!

  • WOW really neat that people related to these videos actually watch them, too. Sounds like a really nice group of people, except for the suspects of course.

  • How many years did the suspect get for attempted murder of a police officer, even though he was convicted of aggravated assault?

  • What about the first guy in the white shirt who they easily cuffed...??

How much time did he get??

Probably less time than the car theif they wresteled with.

  • You mean the second theif they were wrestling was released last year???

How many years was that guy in prison for??

  • I meant both of them. How much time the first guy get and how many years was the PCP freak in prison for.

  • How Long was he a Cop?

  • Damn! That has got to hurt. I hope the suspect rots in jail for what he did. In my opinion, if you shoot an officer, and attempt to kill him/her, you shouldn't be able to walk the streets again. I hope he got life in prison for that.

  • They should have shot the suspect right there!!

The guy was like a psychotic Arnold Schwartzenager!

  • or an institutionalized patient fighting because he doesnt want his meds.
