@haziq165 Seiya is actually a boy to tell you the truth..........this is the reason that they never dubbed the Stars season........Seiya in this clip changes sexes, from a boy to a girl. Same thing with Taiki and Yaten! I hope I helped.

Serious laser power up doesn't have the snazzy music usually. The only reason it does this time because when she first used, this episode was about the scouts and starlights revealing themselves to each other, and we all know Seiya loved Usagi, well, sorta. Anyway the song was to add dramatic effect.

Also, you're just as bad when it comes to mind warfare seeing as you are the one whose making it a way bigger deal then it should be. O.O Read a comic book. Tell me that Sabertooth doesn't rape someone once, then come back telling me it was clearly made for children. Sarcasm is implied. @frogradar Well in the manga they are girls dressed as guys, but in the anime they are guys turning into their women form. I'm not sure why they decided to do that. xD It makes it confusing.

@SodaPopXtrordinaire I think that was because the anime would be seen by all, so would be "weird" that Seiya, being a woman, tried to stay with Usagi and make her forget Mamoru.

@SodaPopXtrordinaire i think they wanted it to be like ranma 1/2. when they're not sailor seshis they're boys, when they transform they're girls. Plus I think some of the viewers weren't yuri/ gay love ready. It's very stupid to me that most people are afraid of gay love... and i'm straight.

@sillygabbs Well it is heavily implied that Neptune and Uranus were in fact lovers. They kinda set the bar for future yuri in anime since they were the most out at the time. As for the Starlights, I seem to remember reading that the production team wanted more male characters since there was only like.... 1 (tuxedo mask). So they did a gender swap. I dunno how accurate that is though.

@rclark23 If you think cartoons are just for kids, you are severely mistaken. This show is meant for older teens, it was just brought over to america and dumb downed for kids, when it wasn't supposed to do. And even so, it's the parents responsibility to monitor what their kids can and cannot watch.

@RawringPain heh, yeah.. the first transformation is really bad, there's like 10 frames of animation in the entire thing, it seems.

supposedly they got way behind schedule on some of the animation and didn't have time to complete the fully animated transformations and attacks at first... then by the time they finally got the good ones finished, there was only time to use them once or twice.

too bad they can't go back and insert the good transformations into the old episodes on DVD or something
