  • Technically impressive but cheesy.

  • Poor bear and ballerina only being extras.

  • Nice :)

  • THAT was awesome!

  • I bet guy laliberte owns one of these

  • @snedonkey

I don't know if he would had given 300K for a watch...but then he is a billionaire...

  • @davidolafsson acer can make laptops as good as apple. it's just that they target different market segment. do you think everyone can afford and willing to buy ultra luxury watches?

  • @TinkieWinkie888 your analogy is so off. Acer and apple computers ARE the same. The differences are so tiny on the whole that they can be counted as the same. And your question is very strange and obvious.

  • spielerei und kitsch ....

  • it's 10: 52 according to the minute repeater =) and it's right =) I love UN <3

  • its chiming the time: 10:52

  • cool

  • wow.. hermoso!!

  • i like the porn one better

  • nice

  • lol ^^

  • really? lol i found an italian company that makes fakes of these for 300 dollars and ive been selling them and they look and work just like the real thing

  • provide links and a video and i will believe you?

  • nope took a closer look and the inner worrkings are not the same....its more of like a mocking of this masterpiece. But i was walking around with it in a restaurant and everyone thought it was real...now if i would turn it around then you could clearly see its fake

  • ah, so its only look-a-like, not functioning repeater.

  • how expensive is that watch???

  • this one is good

  • Could the people in background shut the fuc*****up or record again! That woman's and man's voice!

  • any chance to see genghis kahn in action?

    please reply

  • China fake.

  • Are you saying they make fakes of this outrageously complicated movement?! Where can I go to BUY ONE NOW?!? roflmao, MockInGarab

  • They can make anything in China, all they have to do is break the mov down, make the pieces and assemble them, but the quality and precision will be less than that of a Timex

  • its a little bit more complex then that. even if you have all the pieces in a box. perfect plans of how to put them together. just anyone still wouldnt be able to put it correctly together and make it work. a repeater is almost alive its so complicated.

  • At the price and rarity

It would be hard for the chinese to get one to copy.

  • There are at least two different Chinese minute repeater movements now, and the watches they're found in are not cheap.

That said, Chinese counterfeiters regularly buy insanely expensive watches-they make a lot of money counterfeiting so it's pretty silly to think they can't scrounge up 400 grand.

  • Dude, you are fucking retarded. That is Swiss made and the real deal. Learn the alphabet and get a job.

  • $350K?? must be kidding me

  • well, the one made of platinum worth like 410 grand, the most expensive one I've know of is the tour de I'lle, it costs around 2.6 million, that price is cause of the complications, those special features can give you a heartburn can't they? haha

  • ah, I forgot, the tour de I'lle is made by vacheron constantin

  • 10:52?

  • Heh. One of the reflected lights almost made it look like the juggler had an extra ball in the air toward the end.

So would the dancing bear (and ballerina) do more if the watch were at a different time? or maybe if the spring were more tightly wound?

  • Unlikely. All the energy required for sounding out the time comes from pushing the slider, and doesn't come from the mainspring. And the bear and ballerina are not wired to the hammers, so unlikely it does anything different at other times (though I am not positive about this)

  • the bear seems to be connected to the rack(which one i dont know, minute or quarter sound likely though). so when you wind it(slider) the rack moves into action, which moves the bears head.
