  • Well done my friend

  • thats pretty sick dude

  • Lol the easy way to upgrade your neighbourhood

  • EXCELLENT!!!!!

  • use boujou for motion tracking....I use it

  • Very well done!

  • @ea7dth Did you motion track??

  • @LISAB68 Yes, from within AfterEffects. There is a tool for motion tracking in 2d.

For further explanations watch the Andrew Kramer's tutorials #45 at videocopilot net and you will get the point. Thanks for watching.

  • @ea7dfh Thank you!! :D :D

  • How did you get the objects to stick? Did you motion track?

  • Nice!

  • 1- PRESS PAUSE

    2-PRESS 4

    3-PRESS 9

    4-ENJOY ^_^

  • Why does everyone walk for abit then stop?

  • That's amazing!

  • Very very impressed

  • WHere do you find your stock photos? just google or is there site with really nice stock photos to use?

  • @EasyLivingProduction

Just google. But I also take my own photos if needed.

  • Awww that's really good :D

  • good job

  • Very well done there.

  • nice

  • That's what i like!

  • A CASTLE! :D

  • CASTLE!

  • and thats why its called after effects :P

  • wow !

  • Really nice!!!

  • Wow, it looks so realistic!

  • nice one

  • that is reaally good man!

  • Hey nice SE.

I have a question, how do you remove objects in your footage?

  • @Pwningninja22

The best I can recommend is to see the AK's tutorial: videocopilot net slash tutorials slash set_extensions

(no links seems to work here :-( )

    Good luck!

  • @ea7dfh I already watched the Set Extension 45 tutorial.

But it doesn't tell how to remove objects from your footage =S

Correct me if i am wrong please

  • @Pwningninja22

Actually I'm not removing objects at all. There is a layer on top which is moving accordingly. Therefore, the original part of the background is occluded by this new layer. Almost all the work is done in Photoshop...

Please, ask again if still is not clear!

  • @ea7dfh oooooohh.

    Ok thanks :)

And you use the stamp tool on PS to remove it?

  • That was really well done :D

  • very nice work

  • Everybody copies from andrew.

But you really learned from andrew

  • nice job! glad to see another student of Andrew Kramer's out and about ;)

  • Impressive work

  • perfecto!

  • nice! not even with a green screen!

  • omg !! u r amazing ,,, tutorial plzz just hints !! not that kinda tut .. of 30 min.. but of 5 or 8 min .. of tips plzzz..!!

  • how did you do that?

  • cool nice effect

  • is the kid in that video u? or he jsut an actor?

  • He's an actor... and also my son ;-)

  • @ea7dfh oh i c

  • the video is amazing man, in my opinion, of all the videos made from the VideoCopilot tutorial, this is the best...

now, if you were that boy, THIS would be impressive ^^

    no, serious, great work dude!

  • O.O

  • ;-D

  • cool

  • yea yea yea yea usher usher!!!

  • wow!

  • WTF man, that was crazy !

  • very nice Kramer is brilliant

  • Well done man! Looks great!

  • Yes, that's the basic idea. Then you must track the footage and link the faded layer to the null object.

    Regards

  • How do you blend the video and the picture to each other? Do u use photoshop for that and make the edge of the picture to fade out?

  • looks real keep it up!

  • Wow that is great man...! :D Damn... I gotta learn how to do these things...

  • I have a propositiong for you. My video should explain it all.

  • Hey, that's great. Seems promissing...

  • Thanks, every day it seems to be growing and growing, eventually i think it could be something great. but i picked you especially for your set extensions skills. They could well be needed!

  • Very cool. Does anyone know if this effect can be successfully achieved in Apple Motion 3?

  • was that a jpg file in the background?

  • Yes, I've got it from Inet

  • Very nice :)

  • GODAMITTT

  • HOLY CRAP

  • Check My videos. Theres a lot of After effects Proyects.

    Thanks

  • Very good! Although I'd like to point out that you can see the contrast point between the left side of the castle and the cars and trees next to it ...

  • Of course, it is not perfect. It was filmed with a crappy videeocam, compression on YTube is vy hard, even as my son isn't the best actor... LOL

    Thanks anyways

  • hey really nice man! Exceeded my expectations.

  • good!

  • pretty good. i used only after effects and not photoshop and mine turned out almost as good if not as good. but i havent uploaded it yet

  • Please, upload soon so we can watch it.

  • its for a short film so im not putting on just that scene so it wont be on youtube for at least a week.

  • this is awesomee!!!!!!!!

  • Brilliant work there!

  • wow nice job keep up the good work

  • the best set extension ive seen on here!

  • that was the best one i saw!

  • great!

  • that was great, ima try one too!

  • thats fabulous!

  • Very nice Set Extension technique

  • Andrew would be proud of you

  • nice! 5*

  • That's really awesome!! I like how you blended it so well, looks professional.

  • That is so nice man. It's awesome we can really think this shot is real. I don't understand why but when I do motion tracking it's always shaky and shitty. But yours is very nice. 5 stars!

  • Impresionante como te ha quedado el video!!! felicidades. Si quieres conocer un nuevo foro de gente aficionada al after effects pasate por afterianos (punto) forogratuito (punto) net Saludosss

  • Nice!! I haven't seen others do stuff from Andrew's tutorials, very nice.

  • VERY NICE

  • Very well done!

  • You are the man! you thanked Andrew and that's so great of you! He made all of us think as pros!!! thanks, great work!

  • Cool !!! Well done..

  • very cool looking effect!!!

  • impressive

  • how did u get rid of everything in the background like the car, signs, trees etc.

  • very nice take on AK's tutorial. lovin' it.

  • Hey how did you manage to get the castle to appear staying in the same spot with the shaky camera??

  • Basically is matter of tracking the original take, and assign to a Null object. Later I blend the castle in Photoshop and import into AE7 as a new layer. Finally linking the new layer to previously created Null obj, makes the work.

Search for Andrew Kramer in Google and find a lot of tutorials.

  • One of the best I've seen so far, well done, keep it up! :-D

  • looks amazing :)

  • Wooooooow. What the hell man. That is really good

  • very nice dude

  • wow that was really gud man nice one

  • sweet

  • Very well done !

  • Wow that looks really well made. Good job

  • Really nice, best one i've seen so far.

  • awsome!

  • haha nicely done and very convincing. you should have put the composite video first since it looked so real then show what the stock footage was :) keep it up!

  • No stock footage... the building is a static pic found on the Net. It was blended later with Photoshop and tracked on AfterEffects.

  • GJ getting rid of the forest:D

  • SKILL dude! lol it looks perfect!

  • Yeah mang this is really good...Andrew will be responsible for a lot of low budget features looking like big budget features. I love this shot really good.

  • best set extension I'd ever seen. Keep at it!!! 5 stars!

  • best set extension video out there! good job!

  • That's amazing!! I know After Effects has WAY MORE potential than the common vids you see on Youtube. Excellent work!!

  • there are so many shitty videos up online of people imitating Andrew Kramer's tutorials...

glad to see someone finally did it well!

    great job

  • Thanks for your nice words. I'm only testing my abilities and trying to take the skills to develop on AE; AK brings good stuff, but people are limiting theyrselves to copy the tuts.

  • impressive

  • yeah, nice one. flawless track (streetsigns?) Really well blended with scene too.

  • andrew kramers stuff rules,..and that was an awesome job

  • that tracking looks perfect well done 23 stars
