I love marmaris, we stayed in a 4 star hotel called hotel emre beach, to be honest if I hadn't known it was 4 star I would class it as a 5 EASYYY! the staff are so helpful, it's just amazing everyone we spoke to there has not one bad thing to say about it, only thing I hate about turkey is no matter where you walk there is ALWAYS a shop trying to hassle you, I ended adding 8 kilos to my luggage just in clothes so if I were you I would pack lightly to go! Lol

There is a lot of people from UK, Russia, Holand and from Poland. If you search place for the best vacation in your life - Marmaris it is for You. ;-)

I first went to Marmaris in 1988 when it was little more than a fishing village. As always, it has been ruined by mass tourism - try and find genuine Turkish food / culture there now; not a chance!
