  • I was thinking about the Quake 2 Dreamcast Levels not the N64. Yes- I remember one can play Quake 1 -Console on PC and PC on console.

  • Stop by: QUAKEPC quakepc.webs.com I'd like to play the N64 Version on PC. Thats just a pain in the ass with Emulators and ROMS.

  • @UZI9MMAUTO Unlike Doom 64, I don't see there being much point playing the N64 maps on the original Quake 2. Most of the maps on N64 are only altered versions of the existing PC ones. I mean I suppose you'd might want the atmospheric soundtrack, maybe the multiplayer maps, but I'd look elsewhere otherwise.

  • @LewisLongshanks Well, many people play custom maps just to play a different level. Being that most know the level by heart. I figured the N64 would be a change of venue. The Sega Saturn Quake can be played on a PC or the PC version can be played on the SEGA. It just would be different and fun for some. Just a thought- thanks for the input

  • @LewisLongshanks Oh! stop by and sub me. I have Qoole Quake Level Maker with tutorials on my Vids.. The ONLY limit is your imagination.. Take Care

  • Choppy!

  • @deadfishy666 Its the screen recorder

    .

  • i no that thing says puto my brother says he says get him

  • 0:53 Second Chance perk? xD

  • @HardcoreMusicTube just dont even mention cod on a quake video

  • loading times on Nintendo 64! That's ridiulous!

  • my bad, strogg says "puto!" at 1:20 lol! haha! 18 hrs later. brain is 18 hrs behind!hahaha!

  • @OrgahzzMatronn

I always heard "puto" aswell lol.

  • at 1:23 it sounds like the strogg says, "puto!"

  • @OrgahzzMatronn I always heard "new dop".

  • looks good for 64

  • I have this on Project 64 1.6 and runs at 60 FPS and good graphics,Though the biggest bugs are the wall hack like glitch and the wrong intro and main menu backgrounds.

  • 0:53 don't know if I'll get this game it has last stand too just like cod lolololol

  • i hate the single player!

what the hell is with the lack of ammo hidden so well at the later levels? multiplayer ftw

  • @IRageFox It is all ambient.

  • @LewisLongshanks All ambient? That's interesting. I think Doom 64's music was all ambient, too. I wonder why they didn't use the original soundtrack.

  • @Voidhead Space. The N64 carts couldn't store the soundtrack, it would of made the game too big.

  • @LewisLongshanks I mean ambient as in the genre. One more thing: I have the Doom 64 soundtrack in mp3 and it's over 3 hours long. How was it released? N64 cartridges could only hold up to 96MB of data and an audio CD is only 80 minutes long.

  • @Voidhead Samples produced through the console's sound chip. You program them to repeat, and that's what happens. It's cost effective, in terms of memory usage, and not really noticeable if done well. This technique has been in use since the beginning. With ambient in particular, you don't really pay attention with stuff like Quake and Doom on Nintendo 64.

  • @LewisLongshanks Oh. Makes sense.

  • did I just see a loading bar on an N64 game??

  • you don't know every game loads? it's just that cartridge load times are much faster than cd times.

  • how did u connet the 64 to the computer?

  • @RedPyramid1000 Using a Dazzle Capture Card.

  • awesome port, I've spend thoursand of hours playing with my cousin n brother, ohh dear dayss

  • I had this for N64. It was fun as hell playing through a separate campaign as the PC version, and the MP splitscreen was fun as well. Some of the maps were pretty cool.

  • 0:53 last stand perk?

  • Me and my friend had so much fun in the multiplayer :D

  • looks like doom64

  • @creativegta Same developers, sort of. The original versions of both Doom and Quake were by ID Software.

  • laggy omg

  • n64 version did not impress. crappy animations, no high-res mode and it came too late.

  • @nooblet911 Dude, even if the most shitty game of all would have the best graphics ever, you'd play it, wouldn't you? XD Graphics isn't all, I prefer the N64 version because of the dull atmosphere. The Ps1 version may be more badass but it isn't creepy at all.

  • Comment removed

  • @nooblet911 Oh, ok. Sorry then. ^^;

  • dude its just like on PS1 :o

  • @JustKev699

The PSone version is a better port. The animations are better, the textures are sharper and I prefer the soundtrack by Front Line Assembly instead of the dull atmospheric waves played on the N64 edition.

  • @LewisLongshanks yeah but still kewl right? :D

  • @JustKev699

Sure? I'm just alot more fond of it on PSone and PC XD

  • @LewisLongshanks lol :D i use berserker engine on my pc :D

  • @JustKev699

You should seen the Quake 2 mod for Doom 3.

  • @LewisLongshanks Sonic Mayhem did the quake 2 soundtrack, not Front line Assembly.

  • @DarkShadowRage2 Yes, you're right. FLA worked on Quake 3's music alongside Sonic Mayhem, hence the confusion. Both are Industrial bands/artists.

  • Cool. I never played the 2nd Quake.

  • @ebbderelict

I suggest you find yourself the Playstation version. It should be only a couple of bucks used and is a technically impressive game too by PSX standards.
