I used Codebreaker to Force FF6 to generate level 1 and level 2 characters from their real character tables, and then beat the game with four level 1 characters.

They have like 40hp, and shadow has only 5MP, but if you get a Celestriad you can still do Quick, Ultima, and Reraise, so it works...

I won with Relm, Shadow, Celes, and Locke, all level 1.

Cheating is fun if you use it to increase the difficulty.

it's the debug battle. if u have a gameshark or emulator u can use a code and enter the debug rooms and get lots of stuff....like get all materia in 1 second....lv to 99 in a few mins *using the debug battler*....or explore the rooms and encounter some really odd things....

Not a fake, just Debug Room's "Test 0" Battle, which can't be accessed via the normal game.

But it can be accessed on PS1 as well as in the PC Version.

lol i fought the pyramids for the first time last night... it (approx) brought cloud from a level 38 to 64 and brought ALL of my materia up a full level or two. Made me rich too, just ONE fight...

it felt cheap so i didnt save, plus it would of prolly made the game glitchy if i had. None the less, i plan to actually explore the debug room tonight. So far it seems like a series of teleports to different parts of the game, which is disappointing...
