  • I've been saying that for years. Besides, Katrina damaged Mississippi a ton more than it did New Orleans. And Pensacola got trashed by Ivan.

  • finaly i lived though that it sared me sooo bad i lived in orange county witch took a direct hit and im tierd too of how bad katrina hit we got hit real bad too but no they dont remember us

  • Thank you!!!!! Finally someone agrees. Dude 4 hurricanes is ALOT to go thur. Ecpecilly Frances it moved soooooooooo slow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • omg.. it was ridiculous!

  • lol why hasnt there been a comment in 5 months hahahaha

  • Oh don't even start on hurricane Frances or Jean PSL and Fort Pierce got nailed

  • o well what happens happens. its just nature doing what it does

  • i live right behind that yellow house that had the tree in it. that was a scary year, especially frances and jeanne hitting on the same spot in one month! and i'm sorry to hear about your house, we got some damage too.

  • On Hispana, then? That was some crazzzy shit.

  • its sopos to be sad that music dont match

  • Actually, its not supposed to be sad.

  • actually if you listen to the words of the song the lyrics say I hear hurricanes a blowing I hear rivers over flowing...also he says looks like we are headed for nasty weather...so you can see why she used the song now??

  • Ivan slammed a tree into my neighbor's house. And a few of mine down.

    That was hell.

  • I lost my home in the first one of those to make land fall in ft. pierce...and didn't stick around after that, I wasn't a native born...whats funny is that I told my husband as we were sitting on a gym floor was the one we were hearing about on the radio was coming too he blew me off and look what happend thing is since Sept 9th I have lived in VA in the blue ridge mountains and I recently moved back here and after being gone from florida that long I don't care what comes this way...I am staying

  • 1.charley: a nusiance that ripped a few shingles off and made an excuse to order pizza before the storm nailed orlando.

2.Frances: did a good chunk of damage to the house. 1st storm we evacuated from for a good reason ['cept floyd.]

3.Ivan: Scary, but only a harbinger of hell.

4.Jeanne: Big evil bitch. a few quick fixes kept the house from getting massive damage, but it still was a bit creepy.

  • Lucky. My roof was ripped off.. lame.

  • i know... sorry that it happened to you. Not sure if the damage has been fixed yet. Dad isn't quick on getting repairs done.

  • that time really sucked. my school had make up hours, so we had to stay in school almost an hour longer than usual :(

  • We were trapped in our house for over 24 hours. Two trees down, one blocking all exits in the back, and one all exits in the front. Had to go at them with a chainsaw from the inside. Charlie wasn't very nice to us.

  • Eww, that's horrible. And your windows were boarded up too, weren't they?

  • lol, Yep. From the outside.

  • Lameeee.

  • I live in Port Saint Lucie, and my best friend lost her house, so I know what you are talking about, BUT New Orleans did have it a lot worse than us. Most of their city was submerged under flood waters. NOt to mention the others things that happened to them.

  • Well, yeah. But N.O. got the aftermath -still part of the storm, but not wind damage.

  • thank you. i lost every single thing i own in frances. it hurts to watch these videos, but every now and then i have to see it to remember it made me a stronger person.

  • I lost 80% of my house in Jeanne, most of those pictures were from my house, neighbors and around my town.

  • I live in Plant City and went through these as well. Floridians handle hurricanes batter then anyone i think. Our comunites are close and people help each other. While the rest of the country has forgotten about these hurricanes and what we went through. Thanks

  • Except for WPB, they complain a lot, lol!

  • I'm in full agreement! I live in Orlando and we did luck out compared to the coast because we are so far inland but we did experience damage, especially by the time the 4th hurricane went through. Yes, New Orleans suffered great damage but they're not the only ones.

  • Finally! I know New Orleans suffered, but they sure do know how to drag something out. Lol
