This game's gameplay concept was good. I have to say though, it's controls are what killed it. The lock-on was terrible and jumping was a nightmare.

Lol, I bought this game back in the day. Was cool how it followed the anime pretty nicely. The controls how ever were a different story. They were soooo clunky feeling, it was pathetic. The aiming system was very annoying at times and some of the bosses were pretty damn difficult to beat unless you used the gundam hammer or w/e its called. It was cool how you got to unlock lots of different mobile suits tho after you had beat the game.

Yeah this game was the shit during its time release and I do agree with the slow movement, saber fighting, etc.

is the beam saber fights in this game anything like how they fight in the show. you know. fast paste and hardcore. and does char have his celgoog in this or hiyaku shiki. there my two favorite mobile suits he use

you know i've never actually seen the anime but i've played Federation Vs Zeon, this game, and Encounters in space and i feel like i know the story better than if i watched the show... but i kinda do wanna see it. lol.

Journey to Jaburo was the first game I ever got for the ps2 around 8 years ago, and just seeing this video brings back so many memories. I've got an urge to go play it now ! ^_^

aw man I just went back a couple of years I was like 8 or 9 when I had this game that was like 6 or 7 years ago the story mode was fun but the vs mode was ever better because you had all of those mobile suits and you could approch the mission how ever you wanted

I didn't care for zeontic front. I'm not much of a zeon fan at all, and not being able to jump is fail.

My favorite Gundam game has to be side story 0079 cause it's the most realistic of the bunch.

you should try holding the square butten when locked on i can kill a zaku in one shot but its impossable for u to hit char with the beam rifle while holding the square butten

May take a bit getting used to the slow mobile suits and using the DPAD but nonetheless, there are many good points, good voice overs, cool ps2 graphics, great sound effects, lots of mobile suits.
