There are sooo many awesome Canadian bands that don't get the international recognition they deserve... Big Sugar, Tea Party, Dalbello, The Trews... then we get known as the home of Justin Bieber, Avril, Nelly F... such a strange business when talent like this gets virtually ignored to the south.

Yeah that's right kids, this is what us Canadians were treated to during the 90s when radio stations in other countries couldn't be bothered. Check out their albums, they're like ZZ top.. it's night and day between the radio and album. Epic jams, humongous grooves.

BTW Gordie is pure bred Canadian. Born in Ontario somewhere, these days he rocks the house in Austin but I believe he still maintains his ranch in Alberta.

KILLER BAND!! Went on vac. to Nelson B.C. in 98; discovered them on MuchMusic and bought the CD @ the local mall there. Have B/S are you ready? and Hemi as well. SO UNDERAPPRECIATED as a band. They've gone various gold/platinum up there in CA; nary a whisper here in the states. Unbelievable! Great music again. He's a Gibson/Marshall Guy. Heavy strings/downtuned, and ROCKS! Love this band, period. Thx!

They've reunited and have an album coming out this year and a tour to promote it! Let's make them a world famous stadium rock band like they've always deserved! Second chances don't come very often, so let's spread the word virally! My husband and I have seen them open for the Rolling Stones, at a club in Kingston, Ontario and we took our kids to an all ages outdoor concert before they broke up and they're now rabit fans too. Rock on, Big Sugar!! We're with you for the ride all the way!!!!!

just saw them last night for the third time... this time an outdoor show in lockport, new york... best concert i've ever been to. loud as hell, but the sound quality was perfect.

incredibly talented band with so much energy... plus the guys chatted with fans after the band for 45 minutes!
