@srbrand04 The only things that a magnet will be attracted to is iron, nickle and colbolt. Steel with iron in it will attract a magnet but pure steel by itself wont attract a magnet. A magnet will not be attracted to aluminum, try it with an aluminum pop can, the magnet wont stick.
