Thank you for sharing this recipe with us =] you should try this same filling in a squash and steam it. It's very good =] My mom always make it every summer. =D
When I fist ate black sticky rice I was so disgusted by the taste and how it looked ;taught it looked like little ants or insects xD But now I haven't eaten it for such a long time I'm curious again an wanna try it. :p
I was wondering if u add salt to your custard beacuse I am from Thailand and I was taught to add salt to coconut dessert so it will bring out the richest in it
When you steam, the texture is light. Thai and Lao custards are steamed. When you bake, the texture is rich. If it tastes like scrambled egg, you probably missed a step. Full instructions are on my web site.
*agrees with apple* D= i tried making custerd because it looked easy but no one told me it woult taste like scrambled eggs.. xD *probly didnt beat it well enough*
Manivan...thankyou so much for this recipe.. I have been looking for such a sweet custard recipe that is original thai. Very good Presentation.. no annoying distracting music... precise good directions..Very Professional. I look forward to many more.. Pam
