They've changed it at some point. I think the official word on it is that they have red blood now, search the wh40k wiki for ork, then look under physiology

Hopefully this should answer the question about our 'lone wolf' space marine. The current Wikipedia article states that he is Captain Titus, this would explain why he fights alone. Unfortunatley this information is without reference, and, as of yet, is just as likely to be inaccurate as it is accurate.

I'm glad in this game they are depicting the Space Marines correctly. Even in the table top version, my personal opinion is the Space Marines weren't bad ass enough.

@b0bs0 but their not, they are showing lone space marines jump packing in with a force hammer into a squad of slugga boyz, thats retarded. Astartes use cover like you do in gears, they aren't ultimate badasses that can take unrelenting amounts of fire from orc weapons. I've read the books, the space marines that did stay in the open to give covering fire or what not usually died in the most gruesome ways because they exposed themselves.

@GambleDwarf100 Many assault marines do just that. They get close so not as many have line of sight as well as killing those they land near quickly there not meant to be thrown at every problem but there purpost IS in the jump pack they use to close gap with enemy equal in range but not melee, enemies in awkward to fire upon positions or where bolters would be inappropriate/unstrategic. In a few cases some legions/chapters are almost exclusively melee.

@Pineappletaco Assualt marines attack in a coordinated strike of up to 10 experienced SM. While in the trailer theres only a lone SM jump packing in. its not the fact that they use melee, they use to devastating ends, its the fact that no SM would jump pack ALONE into a pack of slugga boyz.
