Ed Rendell is briefly featured (pic) in my documentary America's Dark Secrets. check out the trailer here on youtube. Former D.A. of the Move 9 group convicted of cop killing
@kbrummell Hey thanks, I watched the trailer for your movie "top secret" it looked great. I gunna watch the rest of your videos also. Check out Marc Stevens dot net and listen to some of his interviews. Many Blessings, Peace.
I still don't understand what you're talking about. Govt workers "providing services" is different than citizens "paying taxes." Yes, we all have to pay taxes or else potentially go to jail (but not get shot!). But your Q was about "guys in govt providing their svcs" -- NO, no one is forced to provide services as a govt employee. That's a choice, and people only choose to do it if they can get paid. Maybe u meant people shd be allowed to opt out of RECEIVING govt services? Totally unworkable.
@Samrk3 All Govt gets its money from taxes. Taxes are compulsory. Compulsory means the threat and/or use of force. Not everyone gets shot. The only reason people pay taxes is because they know sooner or later men w/ guns will come after them. Sure first they send you some nice threatening letters in the mail, then the men with guns come.
Also, I almost forgot the main reason for my annoyance...your totally misleading title for the video. This video has nothing to do with 60 Minutes, which was what I was looking for (Rendell's spot on 60M last night). What is wrong with you? Are you incapable of using the English language to convey what you mean?
@Samrk3 You should be thanking me because now you actually learned something. Factually government is only people providing services on a violent compulsory basis. And what kind of people force other people to do things against their will? thats right. Violent Psychopaths
WTF? Rendell answered your question directly. It was a stupid Q. Even with your explanatory text comments superimposed over the video, your question makes no sense & could only be answered the way he did. At 0:17, u asked, "Why can't guys in government provide their services on a voluntary basis like most normal people?" At 0:46, your text note says: "He pretends I said 'volunteer'." Uhh, you did. To provide one's services "on a voluntary basis," IS to "volunteer." You should be embarrassed.
@Samrk3 Volunteer and voluntary services are 2 different things. The Govt public sector provides its services on a violent compulsory basis. Its pay or get shot. Go ahead quit paying taxes and see what happens. Normal people in the private sector provide services on a voluntary basis. That means you have a choice in what services you want and there is no violence and threats of violence involved. No one forces you to shop at certain stores. Volunteering is something people do for no money

DemocRATs can't stand for people to disagree with them. They are an emotional bunch of immature people that can't handle the truth.
