EVE has a brutal enough learning curve as it is, but this just made my brain melt. Video is nice to have for historical perspective.

I must disagree. Exploration used to be very rewarding if you managed to learn it. Now it's just too easy.

Anyway, after 3,5 years I stopped playing EvE three months ago. Maybe I'll pick it back up when walking in stations is introduced.

You make money from things at the sites, eg rats/cans either archaelogocial and hacking, nice trade, and probes arnt too expensive

Most have objects which you can hack, inside are usually components and the odd skill book or blue print. I have found skill books worth 100mil and POS blueprints which sold for 500+mil.

anything, you only need a probe launcher and a cov ops cloak to do this, i use overdrives so i can get from A-B quickly cloaked

What do you use for scanning unknowns?

Unknowns emit all the other 4 cosmic signatures. So if there is a gravimetric and an unknown signature, and you probe for gravimetric, it will find both. You'll still have to determine which one is which though

nice. Though I think it's worth mentioning that I have found sites on the skin of a quest bubble, if you only drop 2au probes .. that's all you'll find.
