@mvinaround Yes there are Scanners built into the stage. That little strip where the holes had been cut, was cardboard. the upper level of the riser's are only stage decking and dont have any sides, whilst the lower level's are solid timber "blocks" (16mm Plywood, renforced with Structural Pine) and have sides to them.
Normally we stick a pair of movers off to the side's, but I felt that was to intrusive so I came up with this :)
@mbl112 I think what your trying to ask how am I running both consoles? I am running two totally seperate DMX Univereses. One Universe goes around to all the intel gear and Hooks up to the Studio Due control 5. the second universe goes straight to the dimmer racks and goes to the Zero 88 Elara 24/48.
Thats why there are 2 smoke machines. if one needs to heat I just use the other one. and if both are heating at the same time then I just wait Its only for a light haze its not used as an effect
@olitobey1 They are PAR 56's. We did this on the extream cheap and got the PAR cans for free. What other colour do you sugest then for a general wash? all the other Colours are done useing the 20 LED Panels around the room
@olitobey1 And scince we ran out of PAR Cans we hired in the 8 fresnels you see there. anyway dident need a controlled beam. the 2 profiles that were used are used as a special on the narrator and everything else was a wash. with the reasonably tight MFL Beam angle comeing from the 56's and the short throw distance the amount of spillage onto other areas was minimal and sometimes benificial when actors strayed from thier places.
I could have used a colour correction gel or something that would bring out the skin tones a bit more. but again all things we dont have. and the PAR cans gave alot more punch for the amount of juice they were drawing compared to the fresnels.
Was that Scanners In the wooden stage blocks LOLOLOLOOLOLOLOL

how will you switch between the controllers is there is an error, is it just changing where the cable is plugged in or some other way
And what happens if you need fog and the machine decides it is going to warm up instead??

In stead of all the par64's use profiles and frenels for a more controled beam, also dont use open white, it looks rather washed out,
