The MPAA encourages theatres to have people camcording in the theatre prosecuted, by rewarding the theatre money for doing it you know.
I just want to hear the music from that Movie Watcher Network thing they use as filler when people don't start the next reel. It's really catchy. It's the one with the film reel spinning and shapes of light on the wall in the background. It's hard to describe since it's so simple, but they let it run a long time today and I realized how catchy that song really is.
The first time I saw it, it was at the first movie I saw at the AMC in Rockaway, which still uses this trailer before the feature presentation snipe. It debuted in 2003. Other versions have the Kung Fu Panda in it as well as the Nokia Best Buy commercials that were used in the mid-2000's.
Interestingly enough, I just saw this one today when seeing The Dark Knight. Wonder though if they still use the 'flick' character(or whatever the character is called) before movies are shown at AMC Theaters, since I use to see that animated character more often in pre-movie trailers.
amc doesn't use this anymore...it's that muppets ad sponspored by sprint.
